kissing ears

kissing them is one thing, but my SO attacks my ears and makes a messss...
there's so much saliva that I feel like I'm prone to getting an ear infection lol.

Everytime he does it, I pull away so that he doesn;t get too close, but what's up with that? Any of you girls have the same thing happen?

Gilda 12-04-2005 01:13 PM

Kissing I can take or leave.

Nibbling, on the other hand, that'll send a tingle down my spine every time.

I think it's a matter of technique and degree, as with everything else. It's can be nice if it isn't overdone, but too much is as bad or worse than nothing.

no, i haven't had that happen since i was a young teenager...

honestly, I would just plain tell him that you'd prefer he was a little more gentle and Show him what you like by doing it to him :)

Haven't had a water pump feast over my ear yet...but I imagine it isn't a great feeling.. I have to agree with Gilda though.. The nibbling does it for me, with a very minimal amount of saliva...

Im sure there are non-insulting ways to 'tell' your SO that his affection for ears need not be a draining experience (haha)..just exercise some tact...

taboo 12-05-2005 04:48 PM

hahaah drainig experience.. :P
i told him, and he replies by telling me that it's the 3rd time I tell him hahaha
i didnt; even realize..!
I think he's gonna tone it down now.. :)

hahah and who says redunduncy is aimless....

For some reason, Hub always went after my ears, and subtle didn't work. I finally had to say that it was the worst turnoff for me and why didn't he get that? A nibble at the back of the neck was soooo much sweeter.

I have very acute hearing, and the dishwasher rinse cycle is not the roar I want to hear when making love with my man.

Agreed. A good nibble can send me into...well, I'll stop there. Suffice it to say that my SO has this skill down pat.

As does mine. And she has a truly wicked habit of doing it in a public place. Sometimes while slipping fingernail along my spine. Ahhhh.

Wow. I just remembered how much I missed having an SO.

taboo 12-07-2005 06:53 AM

I have the same problem with my hubby sometimes, taboo. During foreplay, he tones it down - nibbling and thats it. But man, when we're really getting into it, I don't know if his saliva glands are working overtime or what, but I feel like I'm in the middle of Niagra Falls. Wet ears, doused neck, drowning mouth, uck. I've told him before to tone it down, and he does for awhile and then goes back to the old ways. Sigh. Good thing I really love him, eh?

taboo 12-09-2005 06:46 AM

hahah yea good thing
i feel your pain lol

I must concur! I don't much enjoy the ear thing like I used to, along with a lot of things since I've had my first child (don't know why...certain things are a HUGE turn off now...I actually hate it...but that's another thread!).

The problem with my SO is that he slurps in my ear or makes these little noises that totally send icky signals to my brain and make me shudder with the exact opposite feelings he's trying to instill at the moment...I have done the pulling away thing, explained to him what's happening, but he doesn't seem to understand what part is the wrong part, he's changed everything BUT that part!

I was like that maybe for the first month post baby, I didn't want to be touched, god forbid I have someone running saliva down my ear.. thereafter, my libido seemed to have hit some sort of kickstart. Have no idea where it came from. It was like 'oh hello havent seen you in a while'

I would agree on where the slurpy surround sound would be bothersome and heck I applaud you for being able to tell him so without it hurting his ego...Maybe instead of telling him what he isn't doing right, pin extra praise on the times he DOES nibble the right way (if he ever does??) tell him how you like it instead of telling him how you don't like it. That may work...

Still..i love ear nibbles...especiallly when some of the warm air is breathed out and slightly brushes against your ear..

epprebek 12-12-2005 12:08 PM

i completely agree with gilda and onesnowyowl, little kisses and nibbles can feel so wonderful... : )
a waterfall on the other hand, would be a bit distracting,
showing your SO what you would like him to do sounds like a great idea
