Any good birthday gift ideas?
My boyfriend's 21st birthday is coming up pretty soon and I'm stumped on what to do for him. I don't want to spend tooo much money but I also don't want this gift to be something that he won't forget. And since I won't actually see him on his birthday because he's out of town playing baseball until a couple days after, I want it to be something I can give him because I have a party planned for when he gets back to California.
Any suggestions?? Thanks so much! |

Since he's a baseball player, I'm going to assume that it's not major league and perhaps college or AA ball? Why not do something creative, that you could do on your computer - make a series of baseball cards of him.. .Get some pictures, get his stats (look at a real baseball card and see what info they put on them) and then frame it.
Have you been to any of his games? Or have any of his games been in the paper.. put together a scrap book of all his "highlights" where his team has gotten press. Personalized coupon books are always a fun gift... be as naughty or as nice as you want to be... Be creative and have some fun with it -just remember whatever you promise in the coupon you will have to follow thru with in actuality Otherwise - -what are his interests -- how long have you been dating?

He is in the minor league system for the Astros so he already has actual baseball cards. I've been to quite a few of his games but we haven't been dating that long (6 months) and I know his mom already has a scrapbook of all his baseball stuff since he was little so that idea is out.
I'm think that the coupon book is a good idea and I'm gonna go with that. Other than baseball he loves music so I guess I could do something with that. I'm just stuck because our birthdays are very close and he's flying me out to see him for my birthday and has something big planned and I feel like I have nothing... |

it's not the amount of money you spend - it's the amount of thought that goes in behind it...
if he's going to be on the road for his birthday, you could always have flowers or balloons send to him, to do something different - I'd bet that he's not gotten too many special deliveries like that...

We always give different toys and games to kids and I hope they have used them all in their lives so we should now change their taste and should give them some different gifts, you may give them a themed treasure hunt for the gift purposes. As this will be an exclusive gift for them.
