Wierdness

So. Here goes.

I started my period last week, Thursday around noon. It ended yesterday afternoon. It was lighter than usual, which was fine. Today it started up again. I just found out, so I honestly don't know when it started, I'm just glad I caught it before work.

There was a chance of pregnancy, and then I started my period, so I didn't really worry about it TOO much... Now I just don't know wtf is going on. Kinda freakin' out a little.

A couple years ago I'd found out I was pregnant (BAAAAAAAAD TIMING IN LIFE) and ended up with craziness and no child. So that makes me kinda worry now.

This probably didn't make much sense, but anyone have any clue what might be going on???

sometimes when i'm stressing over something i get my period late, or it gets light and then stops and restarts. sometimes cycles are whack like that....its probably nothing to worry about

Your uterus wasn't done emptying itself.....

It happens to me from time to time. Usually when it's light it'll go for 7-10 days, getting lighter, stopping for a day, then starting. When it's heavy it goes for like 3-4 days and stops. Usually if I'm screwing around with my pills something strange will happen with my red.

I wish I could be more help but I'm swleeepy

right.

but if I was in such a situation, I would worry about it, until I had reason not to.

sillygirl, to be safe, i'd suggest going to your doctor/gyno.

Do a home pregnancy test and call your doctor if you have questions or are still worried. When you call your doctor they will probably ask you if there is a chance you are pregnant and you said there was a chance. Best to cover all the bases and by doing the test, you can put your mind at ease right away. You can still get your period if your pregnant, especially if your newly pregnant. I went with what my body told me. I just knew.

Did one. Says no. A friend, however, took three before hers came positive. And that was after four weeks. Soooo.. not much faith in the test. And my doc's out til Thursday. Yay.

My periods are always like that...it starts out heavy, last for about 1 1/2 - 2 days, then seems to go away, except for another 'gush' on the third/fourth day. I never thought much of it, its always been like that.

Alright, it seems to be over. And apparently blood in the urine will affect test results, which the test insert thingy never said. So I guess we'll figure this out later. Thanks for the input!

For what it is worth, I'm on a low dose pill and my period does that. I start Sunday morning, end Wednesday afternoon, start a new pack Thursday morning, bleed moderately Thursday evening and am completely done by Friday. That's the way my period has been since I've been on the pill. I know that it is weird to have anything odd happen, but at least you're not alone.
