Male Member Question - Height and Sexual Positions - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Got a PM from a male member who would appreciate some female advice:

My girlfriend and I have outstanding sex. I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging, but we both orgasm at least once nearly every time. I mention this as background so I don't seem to be complaining when I ask my question. I'm 6 foot 2, and she's 5 foot 1 (on a good day). We do missionary, doggie, and cowgirl (in various places: bed, chair, sofa/love seat, and once in the driver's seat of my truck ). However, due to the size difference, and me not having enough upper body strength (arm strength, mostly), we are pretty much limited to this. Basically, we can't do any standing-up sex. I don't mean to sound like I'm stereotyping here, but I'm hoping some of you shorter women (or anyone dating a guy something close to a foot taller than you) could offer up some ideas.

I really want to figure out something for her so that we can experiment a bit with different places..even something as relatively simple as the shower. One of her fantasies is to have sex under a waterfall. As it stands, that's never really gonna happen, and I'd do anything to make her happy.

So, following my long-winded post, I submit my inquiry to you knowledgable ladies.

Perhaps if his girlfriend found a solid surface to stand on? Even a couple of pillows under her feet and leaning against a wall could help.

Also, variations on the three positions that he allready does could help!

Ummm, I'm 5'1". My legs wrapped around hubs hips while he was standing was pretty spectacular.

i'm 5'1 and we haven't done this yet :T tried to but it didn't work..
what if you just try lifting weights.. ?

i saw a neat position in porn once where the girl was on top of the guy 'reverse cowgirl position'. if you can imagine her leaning backwards from there, and putting her arms around his neck... then he sits up/stands up and holds her from the thighs.... if that makes sense? it's an alternative to the girl wrapping her legs around you. it might be easier to get going.. but haven't really tried so i wouldn't know.

To Cellophanedeity: that is something we hadn't thought about. The only showers we had access to in the dorms had only very thin lips, so we couldn't really use that. Outside of those, there weren't many safe places to try it out. However, I will try the pillows suggestion.

To Elphaba: unfortunately, that's what I was referring to with the lack of upper body strength. We've done that a few times at the finish. That is, start in cowgirl in a chair, then as we get close to the grand finale, I stand up and she wraps the legs around. Will definitely try that from a start to finish though. Might just have to get her to wrap on extra tight

My boyfriend is 6' and I am 5'1". We have had sex in the shower before. I can stand with my legs spread apart and my arms stretched to hold myself against the wall. I'll bend over a little sort of making an upside down L. He can then get behind me and it seems to work well, he bends his knees just a little. Another time we tried him laying down in the tub with the shower on and then I just crawled on top. The tub needs to be a bit wider than normal otherwise your legs get squished!

I'm a foot taller than my wife, and standing sex (shower or otherwise) is possible with another position that hasn't been described in this thread yet. My wife keeps her legs together, but bends over at the waist for easier access. I spread my legs apart to lower my waist to be the same level as hers. No problem at all.

Have you tried sitting her on something that's waist high to you? Hubby and I have done it in the bathroom with me on the bathroom counter. The tub is conveniently at an angle to our counter so I can put my foot up on the edge of the tub to give me leverage but we've done it without me putting my foot there either (when that foot was broken and swollen). It's pretty hot in that position and I'm at the right height that hubby can pretty much just stand.

Have you tried a scissors position?? This one is a variation on a spoon - height has nothing to do with this position. Lying down so that you are somewhat spooning, the girl puts her lower leg between yours, she turns onto her back and slides down so that her body is almost at a 90 degree angle to yours. She had rest her upper leg on top of your hips or you can hook your arm under her upper leg. This is a little more passive position for the girl but you can get a different angle than the usual. It was a GREAT position when I was pregnant or after I had my hernia operation.

I'm sure I can think of some more positions where height wouldn't be an issue but my brain is shutting down tonight already.

Yes! We've done that. I'm 5'1", and hubby is 6'4".

Let's see....another thing we do (of course you can't do this in the shower), is put a short, 6" box at the foot of the bed. I stand on that, and I can brace my arms on the end of the bed (it's tall, a waterbed with drawers), and he can stand behind me.

What about, if you want to hold her up, bracing her back against the wall so you don't have to use all of your arm strength to hold her up?

More than likely, no matter how you slice it, you may have to stand with your legs spread wide so it lowers your pelvis to her level if she remains on her feet.

I don't think the shower sex will be able to be done for a while (both living at home during the summer), but whenever we get together, the standing sex will simply have to be done. The bending-at-the-waist suggestion is particularly appetizing. Please continue with any and all suggestions.
