When I was a kid, my two best friends came over to my house after my birthday party and we went into my brother's room to watch Aladdin or some other kid nonsense. He had an old TV and VCR, meaning that whenever there was a tape already in the VCR, it would just start playing whenever you turned the TV on. It was thus that my friends and I saw our first pornography ("Indiscreet"). It was XXX and the tape was cued to the middle of a close-up of a penis going into a vagina. No music, just some lively banging and the glorious sounds of pleasure. It was the hottest thing I ever saw in my entire life.

Part of me thinks that my preference for XXX close-ups stems from this experience. Then again, it's just so HOTT that maybe I would have this preference no matter what kind of porn I saw for the first time. My two old friends (as far as I know) were not as hooked as I was to what we saw. I think they're more about mental stimulation - a context to their sex that makes it "love-making." I could be wrong. Anyway, I sort of wonder if I would have a different preference had my first exposure been different.

I like porn that's all about the beauty and pleasure of sex. Michael Ninn, while taking himself a tad too seriously, makes great porn that's like that. So does Andrew Blake. The women are beautiful and don't fall into the category of "Pamela Anderson knock-off" that so many porn stars do. Also, a good movie with a plot and great sex scenes works too- Martel and I got done watching Space Nuts recently and it was totally like that- funny and with great sex!

I'm all about the videos myself. I enjoy looking at pictures, but they don't excite me to the point that I would ever get off on them. But watching porn always does it for me, even when its just silly and without a plot. :p As for my first experience, I honestly don't really remember. I know that any time I would stay at a friends house when I was younger and they had movie channels, I'd stay up past everyone else to try and find something steamy on late at night. :p But I don't recall my first porn experience. *shrug*

I remember finding magazines my father had accidentally left out around the place when I really young. They fascinated me at the time. Videos are corny to me but erotica is awesome! I can make up the video in my mind, adding and deleting at will. I tend to prefer girl on girl erotica but I have also read some amazing guy/guy stories that just blow my mind. Guy/girl erotica is my least favorite of all but I will read it occasionally.
