Daylight Saving Time and the pill
I searched for this and didn't come up with anything, I was just wondering if daylight savings time would affect the time I should be taking my pill. I would normally take it at 10pm, so now that here in NY we set our clocks forward, (I know it was like 2 weeks ago, but this just occured to me) I was just wondering if I should be taking my pills at 11pm? I'm confused, and any advice is appreciated!

I have a feeling that after two weeks, our bodies have adjusted. Anyway, it's generally (not always) relatively safe to take the pill at different times within a couple of hours once in a while.
I don't worry about this too much. *shrugs* |
i don't think it'd make much of a difference, seeing how you're just going one day taking it an hour late, then just adjusting to your body taking it one hour "late." If it's not important enough to warrant a package insert mention, it's not a big deal. :)

thanks so much! I'm completely paranoid when it comes to birth control, as I am not ready to have a baby at this point in my life. Thanks again for the advice!

Just to reassure you again, I asked my doctor about this years ago because I was travelling between the east and west coasts. She told me that even the 3 hour difference wouldn't matter and that I should just make sure I took it every day even if it was at 8pm eastern one day and 8pm pacific the next.
