yes, i believe i am in love. i have just started to fall in love with this guy. everything he does, the way he does it, the way he speaks to me, how he looks at me, the way i feel when i'm around him, the time that we have together, what we talk about, the way our eyes lock, his goals and ambitions, where he's been in his short life, where he hasn't been...i've been in love before, but it wasn't like this and it scares me. after i broke up with my last boyfriend i wanted nothing to do with men or any sort of relationship but the feeling i got on our first date, i knew he was special and i knew that this was going to be something that i couldn't pass up. love is complicated but, i have always believed, it was worth every risk.

what a shame uptown, sounds like a hard decision. Why don't you want to marry him anymore? If you're considering still living with him then it's got to be a complicated story...if you want to share we're listening.
Good luck with your decision.

I fell in love with my husband--and now I am just as in love now as I was before. I can't imagine him not being around for whatever reason. It is a full, hate to say this, warm fuzzy feeling. As long as he is around everything will be ok--sure there will be arguments but nothing that can't be solved.

Been a few days dry on this thread, but I just got to it and, well it's a trip to see all those hearts out there sharing their joy and love, their apathy, their utter confusion and heart-wrenching pain. You gals are sumpfin'
Love is a feeling you have. It's silly that there's only one word to desribe an emotion with so many facets, nuances and applications. The word may imply forever, but it's felt in the moment. The moments can be strung together for an unforeseeable amount of time. It could be there for hours or years, and we cling to it and want to feel that way so much that we try to ascribe it to "forever". Love with every relationship is different, like a snowflake. It can melt away and we could mourn it's passing, curse the snow or revel in its beauty while it was there. It could miraculously find the right conditions to sparkle forever. Love does not need reciprication or validation from the loved in order for it to exist, it is simply something that is felt. When it is recipricated, it doubles and becomes it's own new entity. Fear of being hurt can challenge us and make us question our love, but feelings left buried will only insist upon acknowledgement. Yes, I love...and I may be falling in love...and I'm scared and excited and scared and hopeful and scared and reflective and horny and .... well, a little scared.

Love isn't something that we plan or stage, it isn't something that hits us and changes everything, it's something that we have no control over, it's something that takes us by surprise and I would like to add that if we ever have to question whether we're in love or not, then, maybe you're not! It's all about connecting with that person, it's about being with that someone who is not only gravitating, but enticing, and lusciously beautiful ... and on a final note, I would like to add that I am indeed in love. Four years ...

I did a search, but the perameters must have been too wide...is there a thread where the men discuss their feelings about love or being in love? I'd be curious to see their perspective...
