the "My Type" thread (NSFW)
I think we need a seperate thread about this since this subject seems to be getting out of hand in the FM thread. And yes I'm afraid that means that you're gonna have to look at pics of chris again, ShaniFaye. I hope you can endure it
My type? I love blond guys with a pronounced jaw (and face in general), with broad eyebrows, thin lips and a somewhat narrow nose like James Dean But most of all I like a guy with intense/serious/pensive eyes like those of Christopher Lambert and Christopher Walken lucky for me loverboy embodies all these things

Intense eyes kinda scare me...
But I'm a sucker for a smile, and a good jawline. And he's normally smiling, but I think this picture is just yummy

He has to be hot as hell, yet still dorky. A perfect gentleman with the charm of a boy, and very in touch with his sensitive side, a classic super hero with a heart of gold, but just a little weird... And he is...... Last edited by pinkie; 11-10-2004 at 06:09 PM.. |

do I have to look for pictures?
I like brunettes. The celebrities i've thought were attractive all have that quality. Johnny Depp, John Cusack, Jake Gylahaal (killed his last name didn't I...?), Matthew Broderick, blahblahblah...

I really didn't feel like looking for pics, but I do love intense eyes, like Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas. I also like a really defined jaw and cheeckbones. What is key, though, is a nice, warm smile. There's also got to be a hint of boyishness in additude at least, like in the Leo DiCaprio pic Pinkie posted.

I'm not sure who 90 percent of the pictures are...
Something for everyone, right ladies? Here's mine.. I don't like 'em prissy.. (Y'all can keep Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, and John Cusack and those types) or broody. I like manly men... and tall -- oh please be tall... and if they can pull off lookin' snappy in a suit... I'm all over it... Craig T Nelson (From Coach and The District) Mark Harmon (he gets better looking as he gets older -- I love the gray hair) Harrison Ford (gets older, gets better, anytime anywhere) Phil Simms (I've had such a crush on him, since he took my beloved NY Giants to the superbowl in 1986 and played most of '90 - he lived about 1/4 of a mile from my parents last house and saw him on numerous occassions at Christmas Eve Mass) (I don't like blondes, but damn - -he's got he smile) William Peterson (brains and beauty in one package)

I am SO liking this thread. My little list includes #1 Morten Harket (the perfect man IMO ...of a-ha fame), George Eads (scientifically yummy), Viggo Mortensen (ROTK delicious), Hugh Jackman (thank you pandafaye), Eric Etebari (Witchblade dude)...to name a few.
mmm, ...sigh |

My top three, and it was hard to pick!
Christian Bale, Tom Cruise, and Johnny Depp. And then I had to add Angelina, because when I'm listing my top picks, I simply have no choice but to include her. As you can tell, I love strong features and dark coloring.

Oh Maleficent, I've actually met the niece of William Peterson. She said that he's the best uncle ever, and is still really down to earth despite CSI's success.

My type-
NOT CELEBRITIES. In previous relationships, I've liked waaaay taller guys, who are skinny with blue eyes. Strangely, the relationship I'm in that actually worked out is with a guy who is only slightly taller than me, with hazel eyes, and who is normal weight. Love him to death too! ^_^ |

Harrison Ford all the way!.....Love the rugged, every man look.....
But close runner ups: David James Elliot William Peterson ....I could go on forever. I seem to have a thing for older guys. My husband is older too.

Great thread, Nancy!
If you've seen my 'Yummy Men' thread down there in the bowels of the board, you'll know my taste is pretty diverse, so I dunno if I really have a "type" as such. But here's my best shot.... "What came first, the music or the misery"? Man, I love this guy. Sex on a stick. You can suck my toes anytime, Jables. So the background scenery in LOTR was amazing? Jeez, I never noticed... Things Nancy and I have in common....a fondness for anal sex and Christian Bale. The first guy my ten year old daughter has ever called 'cute'. I agreed. Ed Norton...not just good looking but one of the most incredible actors of his generation. Gratuitous Brad Pitt cock shot. So shoot me.

Well, I participated in the thread that spawned this one, but have been reluctant to speak up because I can't very easily find any pictures of my "type," although I definitely have one. I think it's because most celebrities aren't, and that's who it's easiest to find pictures of.
Anyway, my type would be blond (usually), skinny, generally with longish hair but at least with some hair. I don't really dig dark haired guys, partly because they often seem to have more body hair and that which they do have tends to show up more against their skin, which I don't enjoy. I really can't get into chest hair - leg hair is normal and acceptable though. I don't really feel attracted to guys who are too big or have large muscles. Aside from that it's really a matter of personal style. My type is always very intelligent, not into football or many sports, and generally not macho, overly aggressive or overbearing. Usually they would be significantly outside of the mainstream in terms of their musical taste and general thought process. I like guys I can have a conversation with and stay interested. |

Hellooooo salty goodness. What a yummy thread.
I like older men...dorky...darkish hair...aside from John Cusack, Alan Rickman, Johhny Depp, and Edward Norton (who've already graced this thread), there's: ...it appears that I also like goofy hair.

My types:
Effete Brits: (I know he's gay, but he's just so yummy.) Wolverine (to tell the truth, I don't care much for Hugh in other movies, just this role): Scary Goth chicks: Also wiccan earth mothers, hippy-trippy new agey folks, and hipsters of either gender with messy hair in red leather jackets. And, of course, ratbastid:

Ooh, forgot John Stewart. Smart, funny, sexy, and short! (I'm 5'1" - I love that ratbastid at 6'1" can rest his chin on my head, but it'd be nice once in a while to be able to look someone in the eyes without craning my neck.)
