New Veet Razor Stuff.

I dug the $12.21 out of my already empty bank account and decided to purchase myself that new Veet stuff thats on TV. It comes with a bladeless razor, and according to many friends, works extremely well.

I just did my legs a couple hours ago, and they are rather smooth. However, THE SMELL THE SMELL THE SMELL. It still smells strangely reminicent of the stuff that has been sitting in my bathroom for about 10 years. Even with the new Tropical smell, it stinks terribly.

Has anyone else tried it? I have really blonde hair, so I figured it would easily take it off my legs. I haven't tried armpits or anything.. I'm kind of nervous putting that stuff in there :D

Tried it- it sucked.

I have thick hair on my legs, so even though I put it on for the maximum time, nothing came off. Sigh...

I won't even bother. Nothing but the sharpest razor works on me and any chemicals burn the hell out of my skin.

I havent tried it but the commercial makes it look .. tempting. :)

I KNEW IT! bastards... those sneaky commercials always trick me... thanks for the heads up, changes is bad I love my venus... bastards at veet trying to sneak me away...

Nah, i just can't stand the chemical smell... My roommate and I documented our test of shaving one leg and 'Nair'ing the other... so far the legs are fairly even... oh those lonely friday nights /me blushes/

i tried it on my legs and armpits. i thought it worked really well, although i would only do it if and when i have time, other than that shaving is still the best. oh, BTW, i didnt use the razor that came with it, that didnt do anything.

Ditto.

Thanks for the heads up girls. Now I know I won't be spending all that money on something that does nothing for me but give me a terrible rash. Nair gives me a rash - a couple other depilitory creams do too. The only one that never gave me a rash, also never took off any hair.

i never try that stuff cause i figure i will get a rash or chemical burn cause my skin is so sensitive, but it often looks tempting.

k. I just tried this stuff out.. "down there".. and it worked awesomely. I didn't apply it as well as I could have, but the hair just came right off.

Nair doesn't work for me at all, but I was impressed by the veet stuff. It cost about 6 and some change at Wally world (Wal-mrat).

Just thought I'd post my experience with this stuff. Next I'll try it out elsewhere.. but as I said, I'm kinda impressed.

Let us know how long it lasts :)

I've used some creams, and accidentally got some in the skin behind my knee.. Gave me a 2nd degree burn when it got left on for 15 minutes. So no more creams for me. ANYWHERE.

Veet

Am I the only one who can't get this supposed wonder remedy to "work"?? The commercial promises that the hair won't grow back in like 6 days or whatever. But after I remove the Veet is hasn't removed shit! I can still feel hair that feels like 2 days after a shave.

screw you Veet! I'll just stick to my razor!

That seemed to be the general consensus :)
