Airbrush Tanning
I am thinking about going in and getting the airbrush tanning done. I'm working two jobs so I don't have a lot of time to spend in the sun..plus I have rather fair skin so it takes a lot of time in the sun to see some results. Have any of you tried it?? They offer it at the gym I go to so if any of you have any positive comments about it I might go get it done. I'm also wondering how long the results last.

I'm pasty so i've come to terms with the fact that nothing i do will make me nice and tan. However, i'm curious as to how well this would work, if you would miss places or not. I think the results last as long as it would if it was fake tanner, or even just a normal suntan. Ask a lot of questions first is all i can offer. the last thing you want is to go into this blind and come away all orange and zebra like lol. Let us know how it goes!

I saw an airbrush tanner kit on HSN, and from the looks of it, it is a lot more thorough than the mist on systems that are becoming popular. I am not a big fan of actual tanning- why risk the cancer, so that is something I am definitley going to try out.

I Thought the airbrush tanning was a little pricey - though it seems natural looking - just how long does it last?
The only tan i have ever gotten in my life was at a tanning center, and that was for a base coat before I went to Aruba. These days, Neutrogena makes a nice natural looking fake tanner, it comes as a mousse, so it's nice and light feeling putting it on, it's got an odor to it, but once it dries, you don't smell it anymore, and it develops within an hour and lasts for a few days.

I know a girl who had the airbrush tan done. It looked pretty natural on her and lasted about a week.
I'm milk white and proud of it! It's the healthy way to be. I wear sunscreen every day to stay that way.

I did that once. If you do do it, make sure you follow the instructions EXACTLY. the most important thing to remember is to make sure your fingers are as spread apart from each other as possible. I thought I did, but apparently not. I didn't care for it though- not worth it for the longevity of the tan.

If you need an alternative, I use the Origins tanning bronzer.... got it as a gift and really like it. It's a little more pricey than the stuff on the walmart shelves or something, but probably a little cheaper than an air brush tan. Might be something to take a look at.

a friend of mine got it done for her wedding and it looked really nice. and a girl at my work got it done for her graduation. the girl at my work though, her feet turned out really dark cause i guess she didn't rinse it weel enough and everything dripped down to her feet and sat there fora while. but i think it was more her fault than anything. i'd say it would be cool for a special occasion, although in that case i would do a trial run i think before the special occasion so you know won't get any surprises on your special day. i don't think it would be like a summer solutions to pastiness.
i myself am pasty and i don't really care. in the sun all i get is freckles really but i'm cool with that. let us know how it goes.

I was just watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and they had one of their clients airbrush tanned. They said it would last 5 -7 days - but the cool part of it - is they can do contouring, so if you are lacking in muscle definition in some places, they can add that in - and it looks natural...
Though the undies they had this guy in are hysterical looking..
