I have so many pairs of panties its crazy:D I wear all kinds of colors, prints or fabrics. I like thongs, g-strings, those little boy shorts or whatever they call them. Just whatever is cute to me, I'll buy them. I have A LOT from VS. But I have been known to spend $80 in one store at one time on just panties. I don't know what the obsession is:confused:

just boring & practical here. jockey style cotton hi-cuts in solid black, white, grey or beige. no panties required for sex.

I like the good old fashion cotton bikini breif. Comfortable and soft. I like silky ones as well but have yet to find anything that I like that looks good on me.

I love "undies"! I have a preference for anything in the low-rise styles.. whether it's thongs or bikinis. Lace, satin, cotton.. I love 'em all. :)

I love satin panties...recently gotten into wearing thongs as well. I used to say I'd never wear them, but my husband likes them, so I bought a pair, got used to them, and then bought a lot more pairs :)

My favorite pair...hmmm...probably the blue cotton thong with the cloud design. Makes me feel all pretty.

I have a little of everything but the boycut stuff is my thing. I have a BOOTY and most bikinis arent made for my butt. but the boycuts are and tehy stay in place and i love running around inthem.... and little else.

I looove panties, yay! I have mainly pretty panties, that are like biking string. I have one gstring, and I might want more, but then, there's the wedgie factor with those, heh. I also would like to throw out my cotton panties and have only pretty panties. I don't have my period anymore since I"m on the depo, so don't have to worry about having the huge "sling" available for a pad, yay! I don't have any boy briefs, but I think they're really sexy, and I want some.

I have very reserved parents so since I STILL live at home my parents see my laundry from time to time... So i was so afraid to buy the underwear that I wanted (thongs, g's and such) So I finally bought a pair of g black see through with pink polka dots... My mom asked me why I had them... ( I hate that about her) I was like a crime to have a thong in the house.. so i told that I just wanted to try it out.. well I ended up loving them so now when I see cute thongs and g's i always buy them... I usually save my silk type bikini's for the last.... i recently lost 30 or so lbs and they all fit funny and stuff in the butt.... so yeah those are my panty choices.... I usually wear the black ones on dates..hehe... well thats it ladies enjoy:)

around the time this thread was originally going on (some how I missed it) I would have said thongs only....but in the last two years I have really gotten where I enjoy normal cotton biniki cut panties or boy shorts style. Black is my color of choice, but red is ok too

Anything satin causes odor and / or infections.
Stretch lace is pretty so might as well just keep it for show.
Thongs are for those who are under 140lbs. Otherwise, admit it - you KNOW they're uncomfortable.
I go commando or cotton bikini in various colors / prints. At home, I pretty much live in an oversized tshirt with cotton bikinis on.

Boy shorts are the one style that I just can't wear every day. They're comfy for sleeping, but for all-day use not so much. I suppose it's due to my thicker thighs but they tend to ride up.

Messy how? I go commando a lot and I never made a mess or had it be messy. Unless I just had sex, and I think of that as a great mess.

When I do where panties, I have plenty of black lace and a few with garters attached.

Perhaps I'm boring, but I do the same (including bras...no lace for me!). I hate thongs, I hate boy cut/hipsters (unless I'm just sleeping in them), and I hate string bikinis. I also hate shopping for underwear. I no longer own anything but low rise bikinis. I have cotton and that stretchy lycra kind. I don't think hubby really cares too much, he's much more interested in whats underneath to worry about the "wrapping".

I recall a particular instance when I was crafting a box with powertools, daydreaming as I worked, enjoying the vibrating hum of the jigsaw in my arms when a male co-worker walked in. All of a sudden a stream rushed down my pantleg. Thank goodness I was covered in sawdust and wearing black polyester pants that did not show any discoloration.

I personally find thongs comfortable, no I'm not crazy. I used to only wear bikini briefs but in the heat I find that they end of stretching and growing and getting all out of whack. I hate having to adjust my underwear in the middle of the day.

I also like boy shorts for cuteness and to wear with my more baggy jeans. The lacey kind from Frederick's are great for when I have to wear dress slacks or skirts.

I suppose some experience more discharge than others. I know when I was in high school and college, I was constantly .......erm........ moist. lol But it's different now. I don't make a mess of my hooch unless I'm screwing around. Or of course, unless I leak while on mah monthly or I'm ovulating - which in that case I always wear underwear. If anything, it's just comforting. Oh and if it's 95 degrees outside, I'll deffo be in cottons.

It's kinda nice going commando as it's less laundry lol. And if I have company and I'm doing laundry, I don't have to hide them out of embarrassment.

Re: thongs - alrighty lol. My phat ass could never handle them. I'm Greek, i.e. very curvy. So they dug into my hips and if I was doing a lot of walking, I'd get irritation on mah booty. Perhaps I just can't pull them off............ literally. d'oh!

i love love love thongs and lacy boyshorts. thongs are just so sexy to me. i love the designs and colors and glitters. they put a little extra pep in my step lol. i only wear the lacy boyshorts when i'm at home. they can be a little uncomfortable with the seam splitting my yaya in half (tmi hehe). i've tried the cotton boyshorts before and i really don't like them. they make my butt so hot lol.

You might find that he does care, but in the spirit of marital peace, he's withholding his opinion. I haven't met too many guys who didn't enjoy fancy undies. Heck, I know that *I* feel sexier when I'm wearing my "pretties".

90% of my underwear consists of thongs/g-strings. Some are sexy, some are "casual", but I don't really wear anything else. I'm so used to them now, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable in boy shorts, french knickers, etc. :no:

I am a Calvin Klein underwear whore. You should see my drawers... literally. PACKED with the handy-work of Monsieur Klein (or perhaps that of his underlings). They have a standard "invisible" bikini style that periodically comes out in exciting colours, and I must say, I have never found another style as comfortable or versatile. There. That is my confession. I am in his pants, and staying there. (Nice thongs in this line too...)

Many people delight in thongs as a sexy and exciting first layer of any outfit, and you are not alone in appreciating the precious freedom from the plague of the prominent panty line they provide. Roughly $575 million worth of thongs (that's 130 million pairs!) are sold in the United States annually; and at no proven harm to their wearers. At this point no scientific studies exist connecting the wearing of thongs to UTIs (urinary tract infections) or yeast infections. However, many gynecologists report anecdotally that an increasing number of thong wearers suffer from recurrent urinary tract and vaginal infections, and they have ideas as to why this is so.

One way a thong might be a culprit of infection is that it can serve as a conduit for bacteria. Since a thong is a continuous and close fitting strip of fabric, it can easily pick up fecal matter and bacteria from the anus, and if the thong moves, can carry that matter forward to the vagina and urinary tract. One gynecologist likened a thong to a subway car transporting bacteria from the rectum to the vagina. UTIs and some types of vaginitis (although not yeast infections) are caused by bacteria, often from fecal matter, which is why thongs could be implicated in some instances of infection.

Thongs can also leave women more susceptible to infections by irritating the vaginal tissues. The function of underwear is to provide a soft barrier between potential irritants, such as your clothes, and the vagina. In addition to failing to provide that barrier, a thong may itself irritate vaginal tissue by causing micro-abrasions or cracks in the skin, which can leave delicate tissues more susceptible to infection.

If you have a compromised immune system, or are prone to these types of infections, then wearing a thong might be riskier for you. Have you found that you have more frequent UTIs or yeast infections while wearing thongs? If so, you may want to limit wearing them to special occasions, or stop wearing them all together to see if that decreases the infections. For recurring or painful UTIs or yeast infections, you could consult a gynecologist to see what you can do to alleviate the symptoms and prevent future infections.

If you've noticed no particular change in your gynecological health when you're wearing a thong, then you can count yourself among the lucky ones who are not negatively affected by this thin apparel. Here's to enjoying the panty line-free life that you've come to so enjoy!
