Should I be concerned?
I'm having some below-the-belt trouble. To be blunt...my pussy is sore. It's varies between being just an annoying itch to being straight out soreness. I'm assuming that it was caused by some vigorous sexual activity I engaged in this weekend after a relatively long period of sexual inactivity. (six months) We used Lubricated Trojan-Enz and Astroglide (although towards the end, things got rather furious and I could have been dry and not realized it)...I've had no problems with latex in the past. Should I be concerned? I think I'm on the road to recovery, but I thought I'd get your all's advice before I dismissed it as "just one of those things".
Thanks, SabrinaFair (PS- It was really good sex!)

If it persists any longer, go get it checked out by a GYN. Could be just over-use or it could be a reaction to the lube on the Trojans (I don't think they use nonoxynol-9 any more but a lot of women had problems with that) or it could be some kind of infection.

Well girls, things got a little worse, including some burning urination and blood in my pee. So I self-diagnosed myself as urinary tract infection and went to the dr. Sure enough...I have a urinary tract infection. So I'm on antibiotics and feeling much better now that I know what it is.
And ladies--take my advice...always pee after sex. Trust me....this ain't fun.

Peeing after sex is very helpful to avoid UTI's, so is drinking plenty of water and/or cranberry juice. But I get them just from the friction. If we've had alot of sex (like last night) I get sore just from the fact that he is so big and he rubs on my bladder if he gets in really deep, which he usually does. So, I would try some positions that didn't allow for deeper penetration if you feel sore or feel another one coming on...just a bit of a tip to avoid them.

I used to get chronic UTI's so I know how you feel. After a while they just went away... I am so sorry, I can feel your pain. Is this your first UTI? My doc told me that once you get one, you are highly susseptable (SP?) to more. I have a constant prescription if I need it, and I would reccomend at least pain pills to save, just in case. They are the little brown pills that turn your urine yellowish. That will save your life until you can get antibiotics. Hot baths will ease the pain Feel better.

StormBerlin-
Yep, I'm on the brown pills...only they make my urine Kool-Aid orange right after I take them. It's my first one. I'm feeling a lot better although I still have some skin irritation. I have a topical ointment for that. Thanks for the info.
