How do you dress?
 

Preppy? Vintage? Business casual? Hot off the runway clothes? Raggety ol' t-shirts? Nothing?:D

As a student who doesn't want to depend on her parents for money, I've sworn off buying clothes until absolutely neccesary. You'll see me in any old thing, loose jeans, baby tee's to big ol' baggy tees, lots of skirts, with most often runners or sandals. Practicality/comfort is key.

How about yourselves?

I tend to wear a lot of black for some reason. When I'm not wearing black, I'm wearing anything according to the temperature/weather of the day. So on hot days I'd wear halter tops and maybe a knited tube top and blue jeans (very rare), and on cold days I might sport a black sweater/turtleneck and corduroy pants, or a skirt and knee high combat boots. On warm days I stick with something thin and light, such as a skirt and open toe shoes. Maybe a sweatshirt/hoodie in case it gets cold. I do a lot of walking so I usually end up with my big ol' boots and whatever the weather permits so I don't suffer too much for fashion. I usually don't bother with hair/body accessories anymore.

loads of black here, too. jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, a few nice blouses, nothing flashy. if i ever lose the extra lbs i gained the past couple years, maybe i'd care more about clothes again... i'm not huge by any means, but after being very thin for many years, i feel like a blimp : P

i used to wear hoodies like 24/7. but now i'm getting into a little bit girlier clothing. and by girly i mean like slightly fitted tops and like pink hoodies. i'm really casual. i love AE but i'm usually really broke so i don't have that much. some graphic tees, a sweater or two. i wear mostly jeans. i own one pair of khakis, and i want to get a piar of cords if i can find a nice pair that fit and are really cheap. i have to hit the thrift stores soon.

i dress pretty thrifty. usually jeans and a tshirt. hoodies. converse sneakers. but i have some pretty wacky outfits. people used to compliment me all the time on what i wear. but i dress pretty 'normal' now. :P

For me it's pretty much jeans and a tank top every day. Lots of black, gray and blue. It's the same for summer and winter, only in the winter I put a zip up or button up type shirt on, too.

Since I'm working in the morning, I end up in jeans and a T or tank. I go back to school this Tuesday though, so I'll probably try to dress a little nicer... cords and colorful shirts, actually do my hair.... I love my boots. 4 inch heels go with practically everything!

My tastes in clothes are pretty varied. I love baby t's, especially vintage or funny ones. Dark blue jeans year round (I despise shorts) Cottony t's, tanks, and polos with flip flops in the summer, sweaters with boots in the winter. I also have a lot of black clothes, especially in my "dressy" collection. Actually, last winter, I went out with a guy like five times before he saw me wear anything but black. But on the other hand, I also have an affinity for pink and certain shades of blue.

I try to wear things that make me comfortable and confident about myself. If I'm lazy then I take the lazy route. If I'm wide awake for school in the morning then I'll take my time and dress very nicely. I reallly like the buisness look, but also the clean cut sweats look, too.

Hmmmm. I used to be a better dresser. I used to not own any t-shirts. Now it's the mainstay of my wardrobe.

I only have four pairs of pants. Cords, a pair of jeans that really need to be replaced, khaki drawstrings, and linen khaki drawstrings. My favs are the cords.

On top, I wear tank tops or t-shirts.

I have a lot of girly summer dresses that are really easy to throw on. They show a lot of cleavage though, and I can't wear them to work because the baby will pull down the front, and I just don't think my boss needs to see what bra I'm wearing that day.

I have five pairs of shoes. Two pairs of brown sandals. One pair of Doc Marten boots. One pair of black Sketcher low boots. One pair of gym shoes. This summer, I haven't worn anything but the sandals. When it gets colder, I'll bring out my docs.

Mr.S says I have a bohemian aesthetic. I'm not prissy or too particular about what I'm wearing, but I'm not a slob either. I almost always look presentable. Although sometimes, I'll run to the gas station for smokes in my pajamas.

Lately... bummy. I don't care enough right now to wear anything that takes effort to pick out, put on, or wear.

Jeans, tshirts, sweaters... Pants and skirts for work. Very JCrew, Gap, American Eagle. Oooh and a Guess store opened up at the mall. Yay!

I dress differently consitantly. Maybe this means I have multiple personalities. :D Or, that I'm multi-faceted.

Somedays I feel hippie - broomstick skirt and tank top with flip flops. Skate/alt - comfy jeans and t-shirts with funky gym shoes. Preppy - capri pants with trendy tops and sexy strappy shoes. Or my favorite (usually only at home or to the store - warm ups, t-shirt and my oh-so-comfy Reef flip flops.

I wear shorts or jeans and a jersey to work - I work with toddlers, so I end up dirty by the end of the day. As for going out I wear black - skirts, tops, pants, whatever, it matches my collar very nicely.

Super casual for me (besides, all my clothes money goes to my two kids!). In the summer I live in my shorts or cutoffs and my bikini under everything. I work in a very casual office, albeit a little too chilly, so I'm lucky to be able to dress down for work. This is a nice change after so many years as a legal secretary where you had to dress up every single day. Ugh! Winter time I'm living in my jeans and sweatshirts. I'm so bad with buying clothes that I will wear something to death - literally!
But I have to admit that I absolutely love dressing to the nines to go out...not nightclubbing (I'm too old ha ha ha) but for a dinner out at a spanky restaurant, opera, show, etc. I just love that, I just don't get the opportunity as often as I'd like! :p

I used to be a jeans a Tee girl but lately since i've started working at A&F, i dress more pretty, preppy... its a nice change. I'll think i'll stick with it, budget permitting.

Hmmm. I wear something of a variety. I do what I can with work dress code, and I usually wear pinstriped cuffed pants with a grey dress shirt and pinstriped tie. That is one of my favorite outfits, but I also like to do cool goth stuff. Sometimes i wear my black corset with black jeans, or with a long black skirt. Sometimes I go emo and wear a long blue plaid skirt (almost a poodle skirt sans poodle) with a white collared shirt and blue cardigan. I have a lot of shirts that I've altered, like my CSULB anime club shirt that I cut the sides and sleeves off and added ties on the sides. I usually wear that with a pair of red and white striped tights that I cut the crotch out of and made into a shirt with thumbhole sleeves. Lots weird stuff like that!

I don't dress that well, to be honest. I have a few nice things;usually I wear a comfy teeshirt and some shorts or slacks. If I had more money, I'd dress nicer. Also, I'd buy more nighties, I love lingerie, and he does, too.:crazy:

I tend to only wear comfortable clothes.. usually black. As for pants, I usually slip on cargo pants. Love those pockets since I find purses to be a hassle hehe. Used to wear jeans a lot, but I gained some weight so I'm trying to lose to fit into them again. =X

USually I wear band t-shirts, but I do like tank tops in the summer along with my light flowly crinkle skirts.. lol. Not sure what exactly they are called, but that gypsy sort of style. Those are fun.

As for feet, it's either boots or sandles. =) I do have a couple nice outfits/shoes for the special occassion of course. ;) Bah, I have to go dreaded shoe shopping for sneakers, but I really want to get back into walking/running/biking again. Gotten too lazy! *gulp* Trying to fix that ;)

I'd like to say that Im casual, but my bf and friends say Im preppy. I just find anything thats cute,cozy, or pretty. Meh, though I can never find anything to wear!

Usually pretty casual... Jeans, khakis, cargos, tanktops, t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters. But I love dressing up when I have the chance to.

Lots of black. Lots of v-neck sweaters and gray and black pants and silver jewelry and Kate Spade purses. My problem is that I'm 26 and could easily pass for a high school student, so unless I'm trying to fool the masses I try to dress more adult. I made myself stop shopping at stores frequented by the high school and even college crowds, and though I'm limited (as well as fussy! :) ), it does work to wear grownup clothes.

I like a lot of plain things, solid colors and clean lines, and tend to wear funkier jewelry. I'm famous at work because I showed up to the spring party in a $50 dress and a pair of $200 shoes. It's all about having great accessories.

I grew up a tomboy and still am in many respects. I have to dress up (for me) somewhat at work. Favorites are khakis and some sort of nice shirt. I've noticed I tend to stay with solids and mostly gray and blue, although lately I have strayed to red and black. Tennis shoes are the shoes, but I do have Docs I wear to work. As for jewelry, just my wedding ring (goes with anything haha), my watch that the hubby got me for xmas, and occasionally a necklace if the shirt calls for it.

i also dress in layers bcos i live in oregon where it rains a lot and i get cold easily :T

i am a goth girl at heart....black and red is my favorite color combination...and i love dramatic makeup and hair...but, being a server, i have had to tone the look down quite a bit..now i just stick with the 2-toned red and black hair...but i wear all black mostly... very stylish .... most people think i am from new york...but, nah, just orlando

I follow the rule for "mature dressing" as a 46 year old nobody wants to see my nasty shiat.I diet,exercise,and keep my body hidden under "appropriate clothing" I also pretend not to notice when my man only touches me with the lights off and his obviously lust and desire for women 25 yrs younger than me.

I like jeans and a nice shirt mostly, but when I feel the need to really look good, I dress up.

I wear so many different things. It all depends on my mood. Sometimes it's black and tight, sexy and bad even have some black, 3 inch heel, knee high boots that I just love. Other times it's flirty dresses or skirts. Mostly around the house I wear dresses. Just moe comfortable when you're not wearing panties. I go without panties about 3/4's of the time. I have some school marm dresses from my parochial school teacher days. A number of womens suits. I like wearing those going out. It's a power/feminine/sleak look. Hubby doesn't like me dressing up too much when we go out cause he hates dressing up. He would wear jeans 24/7 if he could. lol Funny how opposites do attract. In this respect we are totally opposite.

Depends on my mood i love clothes. Im quite a tomboy though and my friends say i dress like a teenage boy lol:)

right now i'm sitting here in a grey wool Diesel sweater, CK mens white Tshirt underneath (basic staple of my wardrobe), TH jeans, GoldToe socks, and flat motorcycle-ish boots.

sometimes i wear skirts and high heel shoes or my newish pair of pointytoed highheel black boots (great with trousers/jeans too) and a nice shirt.

around the house i often wear satin slips..esp at night.

colors tend to be black, white, grey and pink.

i like the brandname stuff, but i've a talent for getting it cheap.

I find i like dark jeans or black slacks, the nice end of casual attire. Just got my first black leather jacket-- big fan of that one.

My tops are pretty much all blue and black. Have a couple that are lighter colors. I love bell sleeves and renaissance-reminiscant stuffs.

I'm fond of skirts in the summer, though i do have a pair of capris. I love getting little skater boy shorts that typically go to about my knees... throw on an old army jacket and i'm a happy girl.

I dress generally in jeans and t shirts!! Big jewelry fan!! I dress up when I go clubbing or have to go to a special occasion!! Never dress bad when in public but at home jogging pants and t shirt are a must!! Still have to have bling bling on though!!

I used to dress all goth for a while but then came the hot hot summer and that stopped. Also now I work with animals and I'm always dirty and smelling like poop, so nothing like some baggy pants and a t shirt for me. I also like to wear a lot of black, but I basically pay no attention to what I'm wearing anymore, sometimes its not a good thing.

Well, living in a state where its over 100 degrees half the year, I usually stick with shorts,flip flops, and t-shirts/tank tops. On the days where I *Have* to dress up, usually I'll go with either Khaki's or some dark jeans, and maybe throw on some earrings. I'm a big fan of making clothes last! I

i dont wear flashy clothing. i like black, though its not the staple of my wardrobe. i wear gross sandals and one pair of tennis shoes sometimes. i wear three rings and a watch. i wear the same pair of jeans sometimes five days in a row. i wear thongs.

Have to be in business outfits for work but at home give me old raggity jeans and a t shirt.. now leather and latex is nice for play.
