hey....this is really awkward for me, but i have a question having to do with "sexual health". my boyfriend JS and i just spent a weekend together and naturally we had fun and all. we always are safety conscious and use condoms. since it may be important, i'll tell you that we use trojan ultra ribbed (the gold box as JS says

anywho, last nite i finished watching a movie and was getting ready for bed when i found a lump and it scared the shit outta me. it was kinda puffy and squishy, and sore when i touched it. oval shaped on the left side (if you're looking at me) of my clit area. like down the length of my vulva or whatever it's called. it moved around under the skin, kinda like maybe a tumor or something. i got hella scared but JS wasn't awake, pretty much no one was, it was 2 am.

there is a latex allergy that runs in my family, but i'm really hoping i don't have it. i researched what this thing might be on the internet, but still have no clue as to what it is. all my friends said "go see a doctor" but the funny thing is, today when i woke up it was gone. it's still sore in that spot, but there's no bump. i mean, it was a big noticeable bump so it's not that i'm missing it or anything. well i hope maybe someone could help. thanks a bunch.

That's really weird. I don't know about being allergic to latex. Maybe you should just call your doctor and talk to him/her or a nurse. It would ease your mind and if you need to be seen, they'll let you know.

It could very well be a latex allergy. I just figured out that I'm allergic (after sharing with family this weekend that are also allergic) and do not care for condoms at all. Now, at least, I understand why I hate them so much. However, I agree, call your doctor or Planned Parenthood.

Think everyone has said it best when they said just call the doc, I have a sister-in-law who is also allergic to latex and has to use something like lamb skin condoms or something she mentioned one time. She also has to have doctors wear special gloves when the are examining her because they are also made of latex. Hope everything is ok!

well i see the dr. this upcoming wednesday. the thingy went away the next morning, and i haven't had anything like it or any pain or soreness in that area since that happened. so i have no idea what it is, but i will definitely tell my dr. thanks you guys for the advice!

Sometimes, it's just an ingrown hair, especially if you shave the area. I had one of those recently, and it went away. Sometimes you have to pop them, though, which is painful, and kinda sucks.

someone told me it's just something women randomly get, and i haven't gotten it since....no worries about STDs or anything like that

i'm getting a pap smear this wednesday (couldn't do it last appointment because i was on the rag x_X) and so we'll see what's up with that....everything is fine though. thanks
