The makers of Avlimil claim it works to improve libido, sexual feeling, and sexual response but the clinical trials are not from a respected scientific journal.
I've never tried it myself, but what I do know about it is that it's not FDA approved and it is available without a prescription... so that makes me a little wary. Also if you are taking any other Rx drugs, there is the possibility of a drug interaction, as well as it being expensive and not covered by insurance. It seems like a scam to me. Just my opinion..

It's just a bunch of hormones, and messing with that isn't the healthiest thing in my opnion. I agree with Plummie, if it's not FDA approved then I wouldn't trust it. It could be Phen-Fen all over again.
