Howdy, joined yesterday. Thought I would make my presence known, then read around a bit before I get my feet wet. Middle-age is my favorite part of life so far. kids grown, alone but not lonely, enough experience at life to be able to drive reasonably well, reading Radical Man.

Wow... this is not what I expected when I searched Google about financial guidance and paperwork standards. =) I'm 27, out of college for 1 1/2 years with my BA for Graphic Design, and moved from California to Florida right out of school. I'm living in Orlando now, and still learning about the area. If anyone on the site lives here and either knows of a good place to meet people/party/hang out, or wants to get together, I'm game. I'm relatively new to the area, and am looking to meet new people to hang out/party with. I was wondering if either you'd like to meet a new person (me), or if you know of good places around here to meet new people/hang out/party. My boyfriend works nights, so I'm by myself a lot, but he's very supportive, and wants me to get out more. =)

I'm here in Orlando, too. Wish I could help you with the night spots, but I'm kind of a homebody....not too keen on the club scene. But I thought I should say hi, since we're neighbors and all. Hi! Oh, and pick up a copy of the Orlando Weekly if you see one around. It's a free paper that you see in front of a lot of local shops and restaurants. It usually details the happenings in town pretty well. |

What do you do for fun around here? I try not to limit where I go; I'm open-minded when it comes to a good time. It could be hanging out at a coffee shop just talking, going to an art show, going to a bar, pretty much anything. I'm more looking for someone to hang out with, and then figure out the locale. =) |

Hi ladies. Been on for a month or so now and am only just introducing myself. I feel a little neglected being over here in Brisbane, Australia, but I'll just have to keep up with the happenings here at TFP.
Here's the quickest of quick insights .... single mum (at present, not sure what's happening with my husband), work fulltime and play the other times

New to TFP
Hi, I am new to the TFP. My husband introduced me to this "project"> and I've been reading some really intersting toppics, wanted to post, so decided I have to have an account.
I am 26 and I have a pretty long medical background, currently I am getting ready to graduate from Physician's Assistant school. We are also expecting our first child in September. I'm not home a whole lot right now b/c I am working in different rotations to finish up school and look for the "real job". Looking forward to posting and reading what you guys wrote. --ducky1980 |

Hi, I am 48, soon to be 49, divorced, in love, an artist, a mom, broke, and I have too many pets. I've always wanted to sit around with a bunch of girlfriends and just dish about men but I'm too shy, (and when I've tried it soon becomes apparent that I'm a little over the top compared to my friends), so this site has been a lot of fun to browse. Seems very...um...non-judgemental, too...

Thought I had better say my G'day before I start posting. I imagine most of you would be asleep by the time I get online, which is late in the afternoon or early evening. Wanted to let you know in case I miss the flow of traffic. You probably figured by now I live in Oz, close to the beautiful city of Melbourne. Im 32 years old and not backwards about contributing, so Im sure you'll work out the rest in no time.

Good to see you here, Mrs Master - Tfp is a round the clock site ... you should still get to interact with a fair amount of current traffic.
Welcome!

Well I am 45, divorced, but in love and totally committed to a new man we hope to get married next summer if everything works out. He has a few things he has to get taken care of first... I was adopted as a baby, know my birth moms name, cant find her, but also have lost my adoptive parents to cancer. I have no family left now except for my soon to be 19 year old daughter, and she will be on her own soon. I recently began to do things that some would consider maybe middle age crazy or slightly rebellious... I now am the proud owner of 5 tattoos, and 2 weeks ago I got my nipples pierced... something I never would have thought I would do while growing up... hell something I never would have thought about 5 years ago!!! I think the nipple piercings are sexy as hell and I love the tattoos, they are small and tasteful, and all can be covered by my shirt... Im looking forward to making new friends here, I recently found TFP because of my nipple piercings. I guess I will end this here because I dont know what else to say...

Hi, suppose I might have posted in here last night. I'm new around here, I started out searching for something on St. Crispin's day, and somehow wound up here, looked around and it was interesting so I stuck around and read more, several hours later I just wanted to join in the conversation so I signed up and here I am.
