Missed periods; pretty sure not pregnant
Before I start, I have an appointment on monday but I wanted to hear experiences from others first.
So, I for sure have not had my period for two months although I had ONE day of spotting last month. Didn't really even think about my situation until last week and now I am a little worried because I have read some bad outcomes of missing a period. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests and all came out negative. I am not under any unusual amount of stress, I am not under or over weight, I have no eating disorders, haven't been sick, no change in anything! I have no pregnancy symptoms either. I just have unexplained, mysterious missed periods. I only say I've missed for two months because I cannot remember if I had one in May or not. HELP! Missing periods is far more common for so many reasons that you shouldn't be too worried, unless you've had unprotected sex. Especially if you are young and stressed or not eating well.
When I was in my teens I NEVER had a regular period and I spent many a day worried about being pregnant, even when my boyfriend and I were extremely careful. What else is going on in your life? Are you physically overactive, new job, dieting or do you take meds for other medical reasons? Even lots of drugs for allergies, partying or a change in living conditions can affect your cycle in many ways. New room mates can affect this... esp. if they are women. Any clues yet? Any reason to be concerned? Do you keep track carefully BTW?

Nothing is different. I am not on any meds, my diet is the same, there have been no changes in my life that would cause me to over stress. I feel absolutely normal.
In the back of my mind there is the possibility of pregnancy but i took quite a few tests and they were all negative. The only sypmtom I have is just not having my period for two months. I don't usually keep track because I feel it coming like three days ahead of time because I get awful back pain and cramping. Sometimes I feel like I might get it but I think it's all in my head. It's frustrating. |
