ok. so i trimmed with my bf's razor's trimmer funstion thingy. which was cute. it was short and clean but long enough to be soft. then on a saturday morning i got up early and took a bath and shaved with a bic razor. i found it was smooth looking, but if you rubbed it upwards it was such prickly microscopic stubble, which i didn't enjoy. i then plucked a few hairs, i have a very good pain tolerance for plucking. it wasn't too itchy or sore, apart from the stubble. i moisturized several times a day. the main trouble was that i went away that saturday overnight with my bf and my sister and her friend, so i couldn't keep up the grooming very easily that night. i got home and soon started noticing yeast infection symptoms. i don't know if that's in any way related, but anyways...because of this i decided to put off shaving till i see my doctor tomorrow, just to keep things simple. the last couple days i've noticed some itchiness where the hair is still growing...so anyways i'm gonna get some yeast infection cream and treat that and then i'll have my period coming up, but after that mess is done with i'll shave again. i totally love the look of it. in fact, it's made me think about getting a vaginal piercing, which i guess is a whole new topic. but it makes me see my vaginal area as a sexy part of my body, and before with hair i never really saw it that way. my goodness i'm a rambly girl. hope no one was in a rush...

My hubby shaves me there almost every day. It's kind of an, um, presex ritual, so if you can incorporate it that way, it's really nice. The *best* thing for not itching at all is to immediately use witch hazel after shaving, that way there's no itching.
He shaves me with the braun syncro, which is that self cleaning razor. It's the best razor I've ever used, perfect on the legs, genital area, armpits, and face (for him!). There is a swivelling head, a stationary head, and a trimmer. Verrry nice.

I tried shaving down there about a week ago...and let me tell you it's not an easy thing haha and personally I don't like it that much cause it's a lot to keep up with... and it feels all stubby when it grows back. I personally would rather just have hair down there... but of course shave the bikini line and keep it trimmed.

oh i didn't think the two were linked. i figured it was just coincidence, just thought i would throw it in to see if anyone would say that it was linked or anything.
i usually ramble a lot and jump from one unrelated thing to another, so you'll have to take my posts with a grain of salt i guess. sorry for any confusion. ![]()

shaving
I've been shaving for seven years or so, and my husband loves it. But more importantly, I love it because I think it's easier to keep clean (especially during the monthly) and if you shave every other day, you don't have to worry about the itchy stubble. I heard that they make an aftershave for women now, I think I might try that.

I just shaved for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It didn't hurt, but I had the worst razor burn and ingrown hairs imaginable. I let that clear up, and tried Nair for bikini areas. That hurt even more. Not only did it not work that well, but it left the area burning all day. I guess I should just be more careful shaving. And I really want to try that epil stop stuff. Any comments on that?

The only thing is with shaved ones is that if you go down on them you gat a rash around your mouth. This seems to happen all the time unless its within the hour of the shave. I prefer them tidy but a bit more hairy lol
