now i have seen guys chat about this but never really girls...is there a way to make *down there* taste better? i'm very clean and nicely shaven but not to be gross but i still don't taste so good...a little bitter! can you change the way your vagina tastes??

Since you say you keep yourself clean, I really don't have any suggestions on how to make your vagina taste better...other than to douche with Vodka, just kidding.

Maybe you should try to engage him, during sex, into using some candy as a fun toy..like a peppermint stick, or ice cubes (that should numb his taste buds).

I'm not much for the taste of myself. Oddly enough it reminds me of cream of celery soup, dunno guess my taste buds are screwy. Nonetheless im2smrt4u says he loves the way I taste so maybe guys just love it especially if your nice and clean.

I say don't worry how you taste to yourself, as long as your guy likes the way you taste nothing much else matters...unless your REALLY flexible

It's been said that eating fruits and drinking fruit juices can make both men and women taste sweeter. I tested the pineapple juice out on my ex, and it actually worked (much sweeter, but it never tasted like pineapples). I could tell a huge difference when he had been drinking beer and/or liquor, too (it tasted HORRID after he tied one on). I would hazard a guess that the fruit and fruit juice thing would work for women as well.

If your SO doesn't mind your taste, don't worry about it. If he ever let you know that you were less-than-pleasant, I would make sure no infection had set in (ie: yeast infection). Occasional douching might help, but be very careful with that, as it washes out the good bacteria with the bad, and can lead to infection if done frequently.

Well I actually found an interesting way to make it neutral. I brush my teeth before I go down on James and when he finished I can hardly taste a thing. Also he likes the slickness of everything. So maybe this works vice versa as well? Test it out and let me know!

ghoastgirl1 - the only problem with brushing your teeth is, I've heard that you should not do that. This is because when you brush your teeth, you get a lot of very tiny cuts along your gums, and well, cuts in your mouth and oral sex could lead to infection, HIV, AIDS, and who knows what else.
katyg - If you're concerned about the way you taste, and if your man doesn't like the way you taste, add something to the fun, like flavoured lubricant, or pre-oral, take a hard candy, and swap it between your mouth and your mans mouth while you kiss.

Deffanitly eat healthier. Fruits, veggies, stay away from alchohol a couple hours prior, as well as thigns like chips and such. Healthy= GOOD..

Being a 'brush before bed' kind of girl, I've run into this...unfortunately, complaints were made that the minty freshness of the toothpaste kinda burned him. He had the same reaction when I popped an altoid before giving oral. Not sure if that is a typical reaction, or if he is just ultra sensitive, but anything minty was far from pleasurable for him.

On topic, stay clean, stay away from sugar and douching and pretty much anything that messes with the natural order of things, and change the way you eat. Another thought is... stay hydrated. Coffee and alcohol probably don't help. Experiment! It can only lead to good things.

Well it's good advice for women who are not monogamous. But James and I are serious and only seeing each other. Therefore it works well for him and me. He happens to enjoy it more. But that is just my situation...your response isn't for everyone which I'm sure you know.

I would think he ought to appreciate it, especially since when he finished you'll still have a clean fresh mouth for the most part. Less cleanup is a good thing!

I have to agree that eating citrus fruits and paying close attention to diet really does affect your taste, I have noticed this myself.

Also, eating yogurt daily can help keep the balance of bateria, at times, even though you may not have any symptoms of an infection, it may be a slight enough imbalance to change the taste and smell. I am assuming you went to the doctor to rule out an infection?

I told you how sensitive he was to toothpaste..you should have seen him running to the bathroom to wash his thing off after I popped an altoid right beforehand!
