Never heard of scars happening. I am the plucking master and never had a single scar!

The only reason that plucking would cause scarring is if you did it in such a way to actually damage the skin, resulting in a would that then heals- leaving a scar.

Since, when you pluck, you're just pulling the hair out of the hair follicle, there's no interaction with the skin at all, thus no risk for a scar. If plucking caused scarring, then everyone who got Brazillian waxes wouldn't be able to close their legs!

What's your source on your belief that plucking causes scarring? Where did you hear that? I'm curious because I've certianlly never heard it before.

i pluck my eyebrows and never have had scarring... if you're skin is sensitive.. you can rub an ice cube on it first to deaded it a little and use good tweezers.. and pull the hair, in the direction of growth as close to the root as you can get - without grabbing the skin...

Waxing is usually easier for your upper lip... a nail salon that does waxing usually charges well under 20 bucks to do it...

Never had any scarring, and I've done eyebrows, chin, and upper lip.

I think someone lied to ya...plucking doesn't cause scarring. In fact, if you pluck a few times, sometimes that hair stops growing back.

I pluck the couple of dark hairs on my upper lip as well as my eyebrows. The ice is a good idea and I always make sure I "de-grease" well afterward with astringent or alcohol to avoid breakouts. It seems like every time I forget, sure enough I get a zit right where I plucked.

I had the dark hairs on my upper lip removed using electrolysis. My sister was already going two hours a week, so I figured, hey, I can stand a half hour to get things taken care of permanently.

I get my eyebrows waxed every time I go in for my legs and Brazilian.

I pluck my eyebrows, as well as lip hairs between waxing...and no scars. Well, except for ones that were already there.

I waxed.... once. I use that Nads stuff now, doesnt hurt even half as bad as waxing and leaves your skin behind. I pluck the few hairs left behind and never have had a scar...

How much does something like that cost?
