Still Crazy

I am unfortunate enough to have it. It is not strictly a "ladies" condition as many men suffer from it, too.
I got my diagnosis about 10 years ago after several years of going to various specialists to treat other symptoms that lupus can cause. I managed it well for the first 5 or 6 years with medications and diet, but the last 2 or 3 years have been hell. There are quite a few websites out there that offer useful information, but I found that NIH (National Institutes of Health) has the best, most comprehensive and most current. Their newsletters are very informative and helpful. The Center at Johns Hopkins University has the cutting edge medications and treatments, and the funding to provide the best experimental treatments.
