Lets talk shoes!
I've ever so tempted. In red of course.

I used to be. mostly flats, boots, sneakers...i still have a habit of buying shoes and never wearing them. My sister just got me two pairs of Liz Claiborne leather shoes-kind of hard to explain, but they are 'pants shoes' with 2 inch heels. Regularly 89.99 and I got them for....ready now? $2.32 each pair. Seems someone put the markdown thru the system and person B didn't know that and put it thru again
Uh, those things you have there tho? Pass.... |
Loving & shopping & buying shoes is one of my favorite addictions!
Sadly, I wear size 5 - so my options are often limited, except for good old Nordstroms and Zappos (online). Those you posted are the trippiest shoes I've seen in a long time! I wouldn't wear them but you can... If you get 'em, you've got to send a pic of you wearing them. |
When I first saw that picture I thought those shoes were broke...you can see I usually wear sneakers:)
|
I'd wear them if the heal was like a shock absorber or something. If there is no give and you can't walk in them, I'd sooner go barefoot.
|
wow. facinating. I like classic pumps myself, but those are neat.

I wonder how it would be to walk in those? I'm a bit concerned with the force distribution, the arch of the foot doesn't seem like the best place for that. Anyways, I love nice shoes myself, however the climate and my ability to break my pinky toe conspires against me. :( Hopefully they'll clean the streets from the five month's worth of gravel and defrosted dog poo soon.

I love shoes. Shoes don't love me though. A mixture of wide feet and bunions make finding comfortable shoes a major pain in the butt for me. I have yet to find a pair of high heels I can wear. Good thing I have a job that doesn't require me to dress up! I really should buy stock in Skechers, since they seem to be the brand that fit me best.
As for the original picture posted, I can safely say those are in the top five ugliest pairs of shoes I have ever seen. Are they really meant to be worn, or just looked at? |

Linda, I've been eyeing those shoes for sometime. I think they would be really cool to have. I have a lot of shoes and unfortunately I don't have the money to buy anymore right now or those would be my next purchase for sure. Of course, I'd have to try them on to see how they felt. And unfortunately, if a shoe is on my foot, I'm going to buy it...I have no self-control around them.
OK, now you've done it...I will be on-line window shopping for shoes for about 2 hours now..lol. And then when I get my second job, I'll be sure to make a money envelope for shoes so I can buy even more that I don't need. If I'm going to go bankrupt, I want enough shoe boxes to make a house out of for when I get evicted. |
I'd love to try them. I imagine they'd be a little like wearing a wedge.
|
The bottom should be clear to give a better illusion. The metal look kinda kills it. I'd try them in a second.

Those look like a lot of fun. Not much of one for heels myself. Since I move around a lot at work, I find myself the most comfortable in elegant little flats. These feet are small, so it's fairly easy to find some fun, vibrantly-colored flats in the children's shoe section.

Those shoes are really something, I must say. I'd love to try them for a day, maybe, but I don't think they'd become a staple of my wardrobe. They're art, really.
For anyone looking for an insole designed to make high heels more comfortable, maybe check out Insolia inserts -- I haven't tried them, but they were recommended to me (by DailyCandy.com, hehe). Once I pay off this month's credit card bill, I think I'm definitely going to order a pair. I'm always looking for a solution to that killer pain in the ball of your feet, since I love heels so much! My dream is to have a closet full of Christian Louboutins, Jimmy Choos, etc... They say expensive heels are much more comfortable. Considering how chronically uncomfortable shoes from Payless are, I'd believe it. |
