Woman to Woman Encouragement
I used to be on an women only message board and someone had posted this. I'd like to share it with all you beautiful, wonderful women here on TFP.
Woman to Woman Encouragement Someone will always be smarter. Their house will be bigger. They will drive a better car. Their children will do better in school. And their partners will fix more things around the house. So let it go and love you and your circumstances. Think about it. The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart. And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children. The richest woman you know -she's got the car, the house, the clothes - might be heartbreakingly lonely. So, love you. Love who you are right now. Tell yourself, "I am too blessed to be stressed." Be blessed ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman. "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world." Send this to wonderful strong women you know. Possibilities and miracles are one and the same. -Anonymous

And how was it being on a woman-only message board? Was that a lot different than in a mixed gender board? sweetpea

For me, being on a women only board was not very beneficial, at least not this one. I am currently on one with about 15 of my friends, but that is different, they are my friends. Anyway, being on this all women board did not help me as much as being here on TFP. It is interesting to read about the man's point of view regarding day to day issues. In fact, I think it has really helped me with my marriage.

This came on a day when I needed to be reminded of all those things and to remember that the important things in life aren't "things'.

"I am too blessed to be stressed" -- you know, it's cheesy, but it rings true. Here I am putting off writing a term paper for no good reason, when I so easily forget how much I love being a university student and how lucky I am to be able to go. Cheesy, but true.

Write that paper and kick some butt Miss Ina!
Your days in school will be remembered as the "good old days" so make the most of your time there now. Then tell us when that A is yours..... you go girl!
