Retroactive bans?

So we all know, or should know, the rule that you must be 18 to access the boards. So my question is this:

If a member is now 18 or older, but it is found out that they were younger than 18 when they joined, do they get in trouble? I think it would be a little silly to ban them now, but I'm not sure what else might happen.

It actually doesn't really matter; it just occurred to me. Funny what I think of when I've been up most of the night and it's 6 AM.

As with all bannings in this community....we do not act without taking all aspects of a member into consideration. If by chance someone slips thru the cracks, and we catch it at a later date....they are of course, marked and monitored. Consider it as two strikes and the pitcher is winding up for another throw. If there is already a strike against them (read bad replys, or whatever).....then they may very well be gone.

If they haven't caused trouble, we usually laugh it off and learn from the mistake.

la petite moi was 17 when she first joined and was banned for that, but Hanxter let her back in after she turned 18. And we all thank him for it.

I know that's not exactly what you were talking about, but I think it shows how bans aren't necessarily permanent and are subject to the good judgment of TFP's admins.

What about other nations where you're a legal adult at 16?

I don't have that problem, it just occurred to me as I read this.

You should have seen how disappointed we all were when she was banned. We had a countdown going until her birthday. Being polite and mature about things can go a long way with us.
