Hi everyone! Ok, true confession already: A friend of mine is a regular participant here, but didn't want to share the forum, wanted some private space. I mentioned that you need to be careful what you say online, you never know who will see it. Well, I Googled her name and it led me to a post right here. (That's why the name). Then the guilt set in, like I was spying on her, and I was miserable for the next couple days. I knew I had to confess and apologize as soon as we were together again. As I was pouring my guts out to her, she broke out in a big smile and said it was ok, we really don't have any secrets and have discussed most of what she has posted. What a relief! I am so fortunate to have such a great friend. Glad to be here and looking forward to being a part of TFP.

Hello, I'm new. ^^
Got bored and decided I would search for something to keep me busy. I stumbled across this forum and it looked like it may keep me entertained for a while. So now I am off to browse the site.

Hello.
I have known about this forum for quite a long time. I would have joined much earlier, but I only turned 18 today. I would not dare to lie about my age; I think this forum benefits greatly by having the restrictive 18+ only rule. I am a student and musician living in Phoenix, Arizona. I will likely move elsewhere in May. I like politics, philosophy, and discussing both. I would offer an explanation for my name, but I think that wikipedia does a much better job of this than I ever could. I'll see you all around. |

Just realized I never properly introduced myself.
This will sound strange, but I stumbled upon this forum when I googled that "ky yours and mine" after my wife and I were trying to figure out what it did and if it was worth the money (decided not to buy it, btw). The forum seemed active enough, and touched upon many of my favorite subjects (politics, economics, photography, sex and sports). For a living, I am finishing my PhD and working part time at a research firm. cheers, |

I'm Jon from Reno. I started lurking here during the 2008 presidential campaign. I am kind of a political junkie. I just got an email from this site because I hadn't logged in for a while. I looked around a little bit and here I am.
Best regards to all. Jon |

I'm an artist from CO that is going to college in NJ, I plan to get a job as an illustrator. Well that would be my dream anyway, I’m 18 but I act older (I hope). I love to read a lot (mostly fantasy or science fiction and a good romance novel if I can find one) Terry Goodkind is my favorite author. I also love all music, anything from Sigur Ros to CCR to Dragonslayer. I don’t know what really else to put =P.

Hi, I'm new. I'm Dan from NY. I am a math teacher by trade but I have lots of other pursuits (music, movies, the arts in general, politics, etc.) so this seems like a good place for me! I am always interested in intelligent conversation regarding the things that interest me. I tend to be more of a lurker than major contributor on forums but I will try to throw in my $.02 when the urge strikes.

Welcome to both of you. More artists and more teachers is always good.
Hope to see lots of whatever .02 your urges inspire.

Hey all!
I'm Sam from Colorado, and Sue's BF. I own a small renewable energy business, and i'm hoping to expand to biofuels next year, and maybe a couple other things. That's about it for me. Last edited by Teufel Hunden; 02-27-2009 at 08:30 PM.. |

Re-helloing
Greetings, all. I'm not really new here... I've been on TFP for years as "TwoToTango." Kind of lost track of the place for a long while, came back, and thought I'd re-up using the same userid I use on every other board. I'm pretty much here for the pretty girls but I look in at the other forums from time to time.
About me... a bit-herder by profession, a writer of (very well regarded) erotica for fun. Not sure it's ok to post a link to my published works here, but pm if you're interested. Cheers, Frenulum |
