Hello Everyone

A couple good friends of mine told me about these forums about a year ago, and I joined up. Unfortunately, things came up and I got distracted and never got a chance to look around and enjoy the discussions.

Today I've finally rediscovered TFP and can't wait to catch up on a year of lost time

Pretty new here as a posting member, although I've browsed and read stuff for a few months I suppose.

I'm a Canadian living in Northwestern BC (gorgeous scenery for those of you who've never been here) and am currently a grad student pursuing a degree in biochemistry. I hope to be deemed worthy someday of being a full-fledged member!

Hello all,
I am new to TFP...sort of...
Way back in the day I was a regular, but eventually saw the forum degrade against ignorance, porn-mongering, and unfortunately, conflicts of political correctness.
Needless to say, I was overwhelmed when I returned this past week. TFP has flourished and I can only hope I find like-minded (and otherwise not) souls to join in asking and attempting to answer life's little questions, as absurd as we may sound. I'm ecstatic.
