Guess I'll do the new poster hello too. Have been here about a week and found it to be quite the addiction. Honest and raw discussions, with plenty of mature wit that adds just the right touch. Yepp, cool place it would seem.

Greetings and salutations...I am also new here, hailing from Atlanta, GA. I work in TV entertainment during the day, and I'm a club DJ at night...nice to see a forum that is completely free from spammers, trolls, and rabble in general!

My name is Jon and I just found these boards a few days ago, and have been fixated on them. So much interesting information so readily availible, it's amazing. My name is Jon, and i'm glad to be here...

I have been studing philosophy pretty rabidly lately, I find the diffrent opinions of people to be fascinating...I consider myself Buddhist, and I practice regularly( not so much anymore...), but just learing from others is a great experience...

I hope I can lend my advice to others, and I hope to gain some valuable insight at the same time :)

Hi all. I must admit, I didn't read many of the posts on this thread.

Anyway, I'm a young adult female (aged 19 at the time of writing) and I feel very lucky to have gotten Philosopher as my handle/username. I didn't think I stood a chance of it still being available on a site like this, but happily I was wrong.

I live in NSW Australia on the South Coast. It is a great place to be with a temperate climate and very few disasters.

I have a wide variety of interests, but one of my favourites is bioethics.

I could say a lot more about myself, but I'm going to go have dinner now.

Frank is the name, Marine am I. A friend hooked me up to this place a while ago. Used to stay in the shadows, but am coming out a little now. I have plenty of time on my hands now that I'm in Korea, so I'll be here often.

I'm Kelly, from the midwest, and I work at a tiny local college as a librarian, which is every bit as exciting as you might expect... =P And I'm male, despite the gender-nonspecific first name, which has caused problems with all forms of written communication for as long as I can remember. I've worked here five years and I STILL get campus mail addressed to "Ms."... All the male Shannons, Leslies and Ashleys out there, I feel your pain... ;) Anyway, nice place you've got here, from the looks of it.
