I joined up a few days ago now and am still struggling to find my way around!! I have looked at a few forums before but never really got the hang of them or enjoyed them. This is the first one i have enjoyed and so far I can see that a)im gonna be here for a while and b) im never going to run out of things to read again!!

Im Geoff btw, I live in Southern England (as far as I can see most people come from america, but have yet to check out the "regional" parts!!), I go to 6th form and am hoping to go to uni next [school] year.

I have also just learned that there are private forums as well and that you need to post a certain amount to have an avatar etc. I have a feeling it will be a long long time before i stop finding new things about this site!!!

Hello, yet another newbie here. I've been trying to find a good forum and this place definately looks better than some of the others I've tried so hopefully I'll stick around for a while....if that's allowed.

My original post almost seems to imply that this place looks good just because every other place looks bad, but obviously this place is quite good regardless of the other places :crazy:

Being a veteran of a number of different forums, this one is very interesting for the sheer volume and breadth of topics and the structure. I have stopped in a number of the areas here and always found something interesting. In other words, I'll probably spend a lot of time here. From the nym, you can probably tell that I like to Brew My Own. I enjoy the outdoors, and have a lot to do with keeping my corner of the world clean and green :thumbsup: . Hope to enjoy some interesting conversations here.
