I am a Junior in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois. I enjoy science, philosophy, politics, and various other topics.

I am a Christian. Politically, I have overall moderate views, not leaning too far to the left or the right, although Libertarianism does appeal to me.

I have a girlfriend of 2 years and 2 months, and will probably get engaged within the next 6 months.

I don't belong to too many other forums, and this is by far the largest. So far it's been pretty interesting, and I think that it will continue to be.

Just keep posting quality posts and the board will open up to you! Kinda like a pop up book. :)

Well... since I originally discovered the TFProject a few years ago and only lurked off and on, I figured now was as good a time as any to pipe up and join in.

Seem like quite a diverse group of folks here, very cool. I hope to contribute to the conversations!

Oh, and much to my wifes dismay, I have quite a few hobbies. Most time consuming and notable are computers (Mac and PC), motorcycles, and photography (just getting into).

I help run a forum in South Africa that tries to do many of the things that I understand TFP does, intelligent conversation, reasoned debate, and a real sense of community.

We have nowhere near the same numbers, but I find it fascinating seeing what works and what doesn't when creating an online community. TFP seems to have very good sense of what works.
