G'day cobber,

Welcome to TFP! After you've been an active member (many quality posts) for a while, you will get the privelege to have an avatar, among other things.

You can't have pictures in your signature, only words/links.

Have a look around and enjoy yourself ;)

cobber 08-22-2004 12:35 AM

Thanks captain Lach will do hope to post many quailty posts lol

Well try lol

Been here ashort while, very interesting site, gives a lot to think about that I normally wouldn't. I'm from Wisconsin, typically conservative in nature but fascinated by countless thoughts posted here

tecoyah 08-23-2004 04:30 AM

Welcome to imagine and Diamond....you are sure to enjoy this community, conservative or not, respect is pretty much a given (except maybe in the politics board)...lol

StarvingViolet 08-23-2004 12:12 PM

i think im about to feel stupid

i hate being a newb. what disgrace. i feel like i should pay a fee of some sort, but i try to pay for the least amount of stuff possible and im pretty sure my pockets are full of lint. *currently taking food donations* jk... sorta

anyway, someone say "hi" or "hello" and sometimes ill even respond to a swift kick to the shin, whatever suits u.

Scumbag509 08-23-2004 02:43 PM

Hi, I'm like... Scumbag.

I think I was here before, but all my old email addys and passwords weren't proving fruitful. That, and I wasn't 100% sure if I was registered anyways... so I did.

unoaman 08-23-2004 03:30 PM

StarvingViolet...Good post, very good indeed. Instead of doing nothing, or merely stating your name, and ya da, ya da, on the newbies thread...you took it upon yourself to say hello. I appreciate that in a person, and sincerely hope that you remember the "oldies" that took a minute to acknowledge your presence.

I'm not "very old", but will always remember the members that went out of their way to give a newbie a hand, when he needed it...I hope you feel the same way because perhaps someday you can make a newibe feel just as "at home" as you do.

ShaniFaye 08-23-2004 04:46 PM

I'll take you up on the pizza if it has black olives on it!!!!

Welcome, welcome, welcome, and HI

G'day Ron,

Welcome to the board. Very interesting resume you have there :). I'd ask you about your scar or second head, but you seem to be a native Canadian, not Tasmanian.

Hopefully you find plenty of intellectual discussion on the board to help you enjoy it. I'm guessing you will. Enjoy the TFP!

noi'mpoop 08-25-2004 06:42 AM

high i'm poop

hello, i'm poop. someone else took my name, therefore i must reiterate on every post that i am truly poop. why poop you ask? i'll tell you. i find that forums such as these usually consists of a bunch of people talking shit trying to oppress their opinions on others. this, of course, is the internet, and hardly anyone will change their mind from an idea on a forum. so basically, everything we says amounts to a bunch of bullshit - poop!

also note the lengths many people go to to think of a clever nickname. satire, ain't it grand?!

oops, looks like my cyncial side got out quickly here. don't get me wrong, i'm not a negative nancy. i am positively negative. hyperactively laid back. and i'm a stubborn sicilian bastard.

anywho, hi!

Bill O'Rights 08-25-2004 07:40 AM

Welcome to the TFP...poop.

Forget what you know about other forums. We ain't them. In fact, we go to great lengths here to ensure that we are like no other forum out there. To that end, I would encourage you to read, and heed, the TFP policy and guidelines. These rules are strictly enforced, and provide for a cleaner, more mature forum than what you may be used to.

xeem 08-25-2004 08:31 AM

Hahaha, welcome to the community. TFP rawks.

werpster 08-25-2004 04:25 PM

G'day from Brisbane:D
I'm slightly twisted and I may be too old for you lot
...You might have to get used to that...
...Have fun

viejo gringo 08-25-2004 05:47 PM

Man, I know how you feel---it was about 2 centurys ago that I signed in for the first time...and then when everything went-to-hell--in-a-hand basket....we all started over again---some good memorys...some even better...welcome aboard--it is what you make
it to be..VG

viejo gringo 08-25-2004 06:01 PM

Tasmania --isn't that just north of Austin Texas...:D
Welcome to our world, mate.

nothingx 08-25-2004 06:26 PM

I hope this doesn't deter you, but there is no poop at the TFP. These forums are highly moderated providing an experience unlike any other forum I've ever been to. I think the difference is, unlike a lot of boards where the moderators think post counts are everything, and the more posts your board has the better it is, the TFP is more about quality and enlightening posts.

Hello. I'm looking forward to seeing how different this is from other forums out there.

Lets just say for now I'm Skeptical with an open mind.

I am SO very sick of trogs who exist to piss others off.

Thank you for your time.

Latch 08-26-2004 03:21 PM

Ninjasideshow, hopefully you become a believer (that this forum is different) soon, because it is.

We don't oten get trolls, and when we do they are quickly weeded out.

Welcome, Enjoy the board....

Howdy. I'm new here, but I'm afraid that if I go into too much detail about what I do in my spare time you'll think I'm spamming.

Oh, and speaking of other sites, yes there are stairs in my house but I am protected. ;)
