Hey everybody! My name is Carrie, I'm 21 years old and I hail from South Carolina. I came here because I thought it seemed like a very interesting forum. Hopefully I'll meet lots of new people here and will be a welcome addition to the place. I'm currently preparing to get a late start on college. I'll be joining sometime this semester and I'm very excited about that. I want to study journalism and drama. I like to write and I'd love to write an advice column for a magazine or a newspaper. It's also been my dream since I was little to be an actress and live in Los Angeles, California and become a movie star.

My hobbies include shopping, going to the mall, watching music and TV and listening to CDs. I'm a huge fan of pop music. I like all kinds of music really, but pop is my favorite. I love horror movies and comedies. My favorite TV shows are Everwood and One Tree Hill. I'm currently single. I'm not really looking for a relationship. I'm just trying to find some sense of peace in being alone. I'm a Pisces and I'm always drifting off to dreamland. I always have my head stuck in the clouds dreaming of a better life. I like spending time with my friends and family, but I crave alone time. I'm anti social at heart and I like keeping people at a distance at times.

I try my best to be a good person and I think with time I'm doing better. I look forward to meeting all of you and hopefully we can be friends in the future. :)

It sounds like you've got a good idea of what you seek in life, but I'm sure that by the time you graduate college, many more opportunities will have opened up to you.

As for what you seek to get out of TFP, I defintely hope you find it. The TFP community is just an awesome bunch of people, and will do their best to help and share their vast knowledge with you.

Another n00b on the TFP! I've been increasingly dismayed at how the would-be "internet revolution" has been betrayed. I struck out in search of a superior forum where vital issues could be discussed amicably with quality people. At last & after some lurking, I think I may have found it here. I am impressed with the humanistic theme behind this site...and the honesty of its members.
