Just joined this place a couple of minutes ago and wanted to know what this place has got to offer. If anyone would mind giving me a rundown of all the awesomeness that this place has to offer you would be :thumbsup:.

There is something here for everyone. Too me 95% of the board is hot.. the other 5% is warm :p Seriously this board offers alot and like bobby said..if you like a thread respond.. hope you enjoy it!

i am excited about discovering all the features of this board.

It all depends what your interests are. When i first got here I enjoyed the now defunct titty board. Now, I've found intelligent and meaninful conversations in the motors, sports, sexuality, music, and even the general forum. This forum has something for just about everybody.

I would definently suggest the Philosphy board as well as Programing, Literary boards...
(my fav's) Anyway i would place a wager if you just look around in the various different forums for awhile you will find somthing that you like.

Nothin defunct about it. Jay-Jay, you've just got to contribute to the board and you will be rewarding in good time. :thumbsup:

Poltics forum is fun - though things get out of hand sometimes.
You get to hear the otherside, and even if that doesnt sway you ( for me it does not) it allows you to hone your debating skills, gives you some ammo for a next family gathering ( we all have atleast ONE person in our family whos political views we disagree with) and there is ALWAYS something new to talk about :)

Just joined too, used to post a lot on Totse but that place has unfortunately degenerated quite a bit. I'm love the intelligent discussions that happen here and I haven't seen Goatse once since I've arrived which is a relief.

Thanks to all that responded, I like this place.

I've been here a few days and have found lots of great conversations. Much more active than I anticipated!

what happen to the Titty boards?

Be active around the boards for a little while and you'll see exactly what (or who) is "hot" about this board. But asside from that this board kicks ass. It has a nice balance of maturity and a little immaturity to allow someone to actually discuss something of depth or dick & fart jokes. Yeah welcome. The green thing is Bunchies and it's just Hasta without the H. (dont ask)

Sports? You got it. Politics? Got that too. Female only discussions? Check. A How To section for all those important do it yourself jobs? Yep. The best porn forum around? Oh Yeah!

Some things money can't buy. For every thing else, there's Mastercard.

TFP is like crack. In a good way...

My personal favourites are:

Politics Board (gets heated, so many people dislike it)
Computer Board (always fun, especially if you work in IT as I do)
General Board (anything and everything is discussed here)
Knowledge Board (has gone a bit quiet lately, but still fun)

But the whole board is worth exploring. And forget people talking about porn. There's so much more to this place than that, and it's not automatically available anyway.

Wow! I'm new too and this place is damn addicting! I'm amazed I've found no flamewars, or trolls, or any other stuff that seems so prevalent on the internet these days. It's like a small hidden tropical island in a big sea of crap.
