Cursing?
How graphical text is allowed in TFP? I understand negative comments and getting down to personal issues with people are a no-no, but can I say "hell" or "heck" or "damn" when I jut feel like illustrating my opinion?
I used to attend one board with this same board system and they had a word censure system. Endless hours of fun! Someone typed "assassins" and it came out as buttbuttins and analysing was also changed to something complitely different. omeone else mentioned Moby Dick when discussing literacy.. It was hilarious, as you don't always notice all those things, but the computer does. All hail Big Brother. |

cussing is fine, if you can't get your point across any other way. remember that the more you cuss, the less intelligent you sound, though, as a rule. Sometimes it's just called for, though, so don't feel like you're gonna get ***'ed out or nuffin'.

Swearage is a natural form of expression in today's world...
I feel more succint if I say "Fuck. Shit. Cunt. OW!" when I hit my thumb with a hammer than if I say "That might have burst some capillaries in my opposable appendage and damaged my nervous system." There's a place and time for everything...

13 yr kid, I'm thinking if there's a 13yr on here looking at "off to the wayside" at whips and ropes and cumshots with more seman than the US Navy, I'm thinking the ocational "shit" is the least of our worries. but, thats just my opinion....I could be wrong.

very true, and we do everything we can to keep the squirts out, BUT, in general, with MOST forums, this isn't true, and anyone over the age of 13 is allowed. so everyone ELSE has to worry about mommy and daddy, which is why no one else leaves the language filters off of their fora.
...and now you know. |

Perhaps the current political topics in the world are more vulger and offinsive than certain four-letter-words.
Pictures of boobies and such should be posted without controversy while suicide bombers and terrorists are threatening our society more than these harmless pictures.
