I say definetly cut it, and go to a stylist kind of person(expensive hair cutter) for your first cut to figure out what kind of short cut would look best on you.
lol I guess i'm just not a fan of long hair on guys.

Never cut it. It's beautiful and healthy-looking.

I used to have long hair down to my butt and have always thought of chopping it all off but it was sooo easy having it long. The only PITA was the shampoo, conditioning and sleeping with it. Not a bad trade off considering that when you wake up, scratch balls, brush hair, teeth, put on clothes and out the door I go.
Now I got the "coiffed do" as I shaved my head about 7 years ago as my sister was going through chemo and she lost her beautiful locks and I gave her mine for a wig. Meanwhile, she shaved hers as well to save herself the heartache of losing hers and gave me her hair which surprised me when I presented her with mine. It was like she knew what I was doing for her. I was growing it back and dammit, the greys started coming out in droves at the age of 28. I decided to keep it short as salt and pepper short hair looks a bit more extinguished, I mean distinguished, than long grey hair with the odd black strands. I tried dying it a few times but it never looks or feel the same. Besides, it was too much trouble...LOL. IMHO, you'd look fine with long or short hair. Good luck in your decision. It's a toughie . |

Hmm... if you're looking for a change, maybe try a different color with the cut? Or just style it differently?
I understand completely about feeling washed out. Half the time, if I couldn't feel them, I wouldn't even know I had eyebrows!

I can't really say either because my hair is growing out and I'm having a hard time deciding if I should cut it or not. Everyone around me is saying I should cut it but I don't feel like cutting it now. But at the same time, it is getting harder to manage so a part of me is thinking I should cut it. I thinking I am thinking too hard for a haircut so until I know I want to cut it, it's growing out. You shouldn't think too hard about it. Like some people said, it'll always grow out.

You have great hair. I'd try a ponytail for a while, 'cause when done right it's the best of both worlds. You have a neat, trimmed look up front and across the shoulders, and still have all that great, glossy hair down the back. You might to get your hair trimmed somewhat to make the 'tail look its best, with a nice shape and all.

Use as your decision on what to do....whatever makes you more attractive to type of person you want to be attracted to you.
Now that could be anything, what with all the subcultures these days. I think back to my college years and wonder if I would have met more girls if I hadn't looked so scary with my long hair and facial hair. Probably. |

You, cut my toast! You, cut my soup!
I can't cut your soup, sir, it's a liquid. IMBECILE! Freeze it, then cut it! And if I hear from you again you're going on diaper detail, and I swear I won't make it easy for you. .... as far as the actual thread, there's only so much you can do with long hair. I vote trying a ponytail, or one of those cool samurai-top-ponytails fastened with a chopstick, like in Princess Mononoke... if that dun do it for you, to the axe!
