Well, I read the muther. I hope you got some sort of useful data from it.
I was a good girl and voted yes (but I really wanted to vote no).
Golly, this was an old thread though...I haven't seen Rogue49 in like forever! I hope he's doing well wherever he is...

The poll is rather confusing. Do we vote yes if we read the entire thread, or vote yes if we actually responded? You linked another thread that was in a debate over people responding, not people reading. I'll vote No because I'm assuming that the poll is concerning those who read the entire thread.

I read it and didn't vote. It went in a direction that I didn't expect. As I was clicking, I thought "why am I clicking on a thread I have no idea about? it just says 'poll'. " I then started thinking after the first line that the purpose was to see how many people would click on a thread that has no identifiers just because it's a poll. After reading further, I don't know the purpose. I feel slightly used .

This should be retitled the Seinfeld thread....it's a poll about nothing.

Read it. Voted yes.

Wow.... I read this thread (and didn't reply but voted when I first saw this thread back in 2003). I only know this because i saw that I voted on this poll without even remembering that I even saw this thread before.

Generally, I will vote and not comment on a thread if I don't think that I would be providing a meaningful or interesting comment.

The original intention was to ask eeverybody that cam in here to vote.
Then I wanted to see the difference between the number of votes and the number of views. I was interested in seeing how far apart the numbers were
