I have some of the pieces now, but they seem to be stingy this time. I've only got one of the colors each. If somebody's collecting maybe we can trade or share prizes or something else. Just putting this out there.

That's a good idea!!! I'll let you know if any of my friends has some (I won't as I have sworn off fast food). Prize sharing 50/50 for two people, 1/3 each for 3, 1/4 for 4 etc?

Is this game over? It says something about the online game going until Nov. 15. Does that mean you can enter what codes you've gotten online, but you can't go to McDonalds and get more pieces?

The new monopoly game is two parts. You get some small game pieces with property names on them, but they also carry a code. You collect all of a color group you win the prize. You can enter the codes in their online game and if you land on all of a color group then you can potentially win a prize. There are also best buy bucks that can be redeemed as dollar or 3 dollar off coupons at best buy.

I'd take any of them if nobody is going to use them.

I understand the two different parts...I don't understand the two different deadlines and which goes with which. I live where there isn't a McDonalds or I'd go there to see if they are still selling things with the game pieces on them.

From my experience in the movie theaters, we'd keep handing out promotional items until we were threatened to stop or the manager took them away. I've gotten lots of out of date contest stuff from every fast food place around here. They sometimes even honor it. They're just saying they take the online game website down on the 15th. You can still win if you collect all the pieces in a color group.

I don't play the Macdonald's Monopoly, but I would like to point out a few things.

1) All the pieces of each colour except one is common. Yep, you heard me, park place is EASY to find. Thus, the 50/50 thing is not fair for the person who has the rare piece. To be honest, the person with the rare piece should pick up somewhere in the neighbourhood of 70% if it's a 2 piece, and 60% in the case of a 3 piece.

2) All the rare pieces are ABSURDLY hard to find. Which is why I mentioned the above

3) If you live in Toronto, your odds of winning are even lower than normal. Because the Macdonald's where my buddy works needed cups when they didn't have any, so they used Monopoly sticker cups but took off the pieces. Turned out, they filled out the entire board :crazy:

Entirely true, which is why i'm just putting it out there for people who don't want their tags. Your last part sounds apocryphal but i'm sure they got a good portion of it.
