I'm older now than I was when I started typing this sentence...

I'm 25 years old. Though, often, I'm told I look younger

I think I have hit the pinacle, some years back. There are no buttons under mine, hence I must at last have arrived. Where, I'm not all that sure. It is evident the bottom of the poll list is not exactly a goal or accomplishment in life. But my age, ah yes, the age. Hmmmm.

I am as old as the mountains, as young as the dawn. I have experienced 55 orbits of our planet around our sun.

I haven't read through all 8 pages of replies so someone else may have already commented on this but some of the younger members here apparently joined before they turned 18 based on their clamed ages and the join dates by their usernames. That's kind of interesting. Also, I see that 0-17 got around 7% of the vote. Are those folks going to get a banning? Oh, I'm 24, by the way.

Just in case anyone is interested the statistical averages are:

Mean: 26.14

Median: 23-29 (but close to the low end)

Mode: 18-22

To calculate the mean, I used 17 for the 17 and under, 55 for the 50 and older, and the median age for all of the other ranges.

21.

I think the great thing about this board is that age never seems to be an issue. The subject never seems to come up- people post as if they're talking to someone their own age. The equity of this board is amazing.

Perhaps some of us older folks (i.e. over 35) are feeling so outnumbered most decided not to vote...

It would have been a great thread on many more levels, if more people DID vote. Perhaps more tfp-ers should reconsider & vote, please.
