Just thought I would share this as a celebration of Martians birthday.....and because I thought it was pretty damn cool

very cool animation. It's a nice reminder that we earthlings are quite fortunate to have such a large moon.

Wow, I feel bad now because I didn't see this thread and was getting all bummed out because no one noticed my birthday. Trust tecoyah to come up with it.

Thanks for the good wishes all, it really brightens my day.

And yeah, those are Phobos and Deimos alright. Fear and Panic, the sons of War.

I love astronomy, which isn't actually where my username came from but just a nice coincidence. I think I'm a nerd, because I got really excited when the rovers started sending pictures back.
