Some people don't need to own pets
Stuff like this is REALLY starting to tick me off....
yesterday this story was in the news Quote:
then there was this one Quote:
Yesterday Dave and I went to Barnes and Noble to do some shopping, when we got out of the car, there was a car next to us with all the windows rolled up...you could hear a dog yelping inside it.....we had a heat index of 105 degrees yesterday. What the hell are these people thinking? They "love" their pet enuff to take them with them during the day, going somewhere they know full well where they will have to stay in the car IN HEAT LIKE THIS?!?!? I really really really wanted to find the owner of that car and smack the hell out of them...While I was walking around B & N I was talking to Dave about the "idiot" who must hate animals enuff to leave them in an oven while they enjoyed their shopping in a nice air conditioned place. UGH I cant BELIEVE these people actually think they arent doing anything wrong!!!!

Some people are just assholes, period. Lock the owners up in their car instead a hot day and see what they'll think of it after that...

I hate, hate..HATE people like this..(Where's the emoticon of a brick being smashed through a face? It fits here).
People that abuse animals like this and physically deserve the most brutal painful death imaginable. I have never seen an animal locked in a steaming hot car or being smacked around by it's owners..If i ever do, I would probably lose my mind.

I don't see too many animals locked up in cars, but I do see an inordinate amount of dogs tied up in the back of pickup trucks (I live in the center of the beat-up, junker pick-up universe.)
A friend of mine (real big animal rights fanatic) had business cards made up to leave under the wiper. Usually something witty tinged with acidic sarcasm.

I see dogs in cars ALL THE TIME. I used to hae some things to stick under the windshield, but I'm not sure were they went. And once I had a guy grab it, read it, and say "whatever." Like someone would go to all that trouble just to piss him off...
Tied in the back of a pick-up truck isn't any better...I've seen/heard too many stories of dogs jumping out when the car is stopped and hanging themselves, or even worse, jumping out when the car is moving and geting into all kinds of bad stuff.

I would just call the police on them. I had a neighbor who used to shoot the dogs with a pellet gun if they would bark. One night we caught him hitting the dogs with a shovel and called the police on him. Fucking maniac.

I just don't see the point of having a pet if you're not going to take care of it or even acknowledge its existence.

My uncle once ran into a guy beating the crap out of a dog. He was like, "What the hell are you doing?" They guy told my uncle to take the dog or else he would snap its neck. We had a new dog. He was afraid of everything for at least a year. Never did get over a fear of thunder or fireworks. He lived a very very happy 3 years with us before he died of stomach complications.
I dont know what became of the asshole as I was not around when my uncle ran into him. I will never lock an animal inside a car. I now know what it feels like when it is 120 degrees and I dont have fur.... |
