so new, they aren't even linking to it from their own website... maybe they are afraid that people will be offended?

Offensive or not? Would it make you shop at GAP because of the entertainment value?

They're probably not afraid as much as trying to create buzz. Wasn't it Burger King that had the website with the guy in the chicken suit that did anything you told him? They didn't link to that one either if I remember.

Saw this page on the national news this morning. All the "it's porn" hype is pretty silly IMO. Wouldn't be surprise if the Gap itself started that frenzy to add to the hype. Checked out the site. . .Let's just say that if you want to get off on porn there are much more efficient places to do it ;)

I think it is funny as hell and will probably get them some additional attention from their target group.

It was pretty stupid and it locked up my computer and I had to reboot. Anything that causes that gets a thumbs down from me:(.

Okay I had to install the newest version of the Macromedia Shockwave player and honestly the view wasn't worth the climb on this one. I of course picked the female as my watch me change candidate (:D) but even at that it was a pain in the ass to get her dressed in the first place.

I don't find this offensive and with the average attention span being what it is I can't imagine this thing really generating a big stir for the Gap.

It's a nice marketing tool, although I can in now way see myself finding this useful in any way. However, whoever finds this insulting needs to get a live.

I don't see how anyone could possibly find that offensive. That's exactly what I do when I change clothes when I'm out shopping. How else can you change clothes? Heck, I can't even get undressed to take a shower unless there's some bad techno music playing.

Other than that, I prefer the Sims 2 for designing a body and playing dress up. Plus, you can kill people you don't like.
