Where can one buy a quality light sabre?
I used to know a place, online, that sold quality light sabres. They were not affiliated with Lucas Arts but they were really good. Each sword was hand made and they were somewhat expensive (several hundred dollars). They looked really good and were not made of cheap plastic.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone know the URL? Thanks! |

These guys have a bunch of expensive stuff.

Go with the master replica ones. I have one myself, it's sturdy enough for anything except brutal bashing, looks sounds and feels great. You can get them cheaper from other retailers, instead of going straight to MR, but if you want something awesome can't go wrong.

I have three of the master replicas. I love them! The sound and ignition are awesome! My favorite is the Darth Vader model, but I have no disappointment in any of them.

i would never buy a light saber untill they ivent some way of making the blade to appear and dissapear to the touch of a button, that would be uber cool!!!
It's cool that the master replicas have motion detectors and special sound effects to go with them.

Best buy is selling some good ones. I think there master replicas. I have a Darth Vader one from master replicas, and I gotta say, I bought it two years ago, although it is kick ass, the new ones seem more real. Try Best Buy.

Real as in the ones they used for movie props, which were old camera flashbulb holders. I have a master replica and one I made myself with a kit.The MR's are much thicker and unweildy than the "real" ones. |

The MR's are chunky, yes, but THEY MAKE COOL SOUNDS AND THE LIGHTS MOVE! That's what clinched it for me

I'm planning to get one of these someday...probably around the same time I buy my other "display only" weapons (mainly swords from different eras)
