Man, there are a lot of pet peeves out there.....here are some of mine:

1. People who use their cell phones in the movie theaters. I have made a habit to forcefully tell anyone on a phone to "Have some respect and put your FUCKING cell phone away."

2. I think everyone has addressed the driving pet peeves, but one of mine is piss poor police drivers. They should have to, by law, set good driving examples for everyone. I see them on a regular basis tailgating, not signaling, cutting people off, etc...this is just wrong.

3. People looking to make their income by suing someone else. Get this: I work for a staffing firm. One of my clients will not accept candidates who have been convicted of a misdemeanor. A guy calls in, he asks about our hiring policy for this particular client. I asked him if he was looking for a job there, and he only wanted to pull out legal facts that says we are discriminating him because of his previous record. Sorry dude, but we have every right to comply to our clients wishes of keeping assholes like you out of there. Shouldn't have done whatever crime it was....

4. Roommates who don't wipe the bathroom counter after they shave, brush their teeth, etc.....

5. Women who don't seem to get past my wallet and body....I have a personality ya know!

6. Ok, and sorry to post this but I am being honest......When I see mods lash out at someone for a simple minor infraction, and lambasting them in front of everyone, I think this is irritating. If you have a point to address with someone, send them a PM instead of spoiling a perfectly good thread to make your point.
I think you all do a fantastic job, but I do see some misuse of power sometimes. A friendly PM reminder will do the trick.

7. Frivolous lawsuits.

I have a ton more but I will go easy on ya....

People without basic manners infuriate me, all I ask for is 'please' and 'thank you'. I'm taking the time to do something for you, the least you could do is let me know it's appreciated.

Kids that buy clothes at hot topic. That really pisses me off for some reason. Don't they understand the irony?!

Also, people who don't use turn signals. USE THE FUCKING TURN SIGNAL!

and of course, people who smoke. Especially hot girls. most repugnant thing ever. It's so sad to see a hot chick , turn to remark to your friend about her, and turn around to see her smoking. *vomits*

People who MUST smoke and thiefs, maby not both on the same level but I hate thiefs the most of all. Oh and mindless vandals that destroy things that can't be replaced or took time and lots of money to do.

i hate those people who drive extremely slow in the left lane on the freeway, or those people who drive slow 2 or 3 cars across, so nobody can get by.

I also don't like racists, like those people on the net who think they're anonymous so they can say all the hateful things they want.

mosquitos are also very annoying.

I hate it when my 16 year old car breaks down. The nerve of it ! There's just something about it that makes it a pet peve of mine.

Dishes in the sink, hair in the tub drain filter, idoits parking in the handicap stalls that don't need them, people who actually have the nerve to answer their cell phone (which should be on silent mode to begin with) and have a conversation in a movie...I'm the one that you will hear say "oh hell no...take it out!"

I don't have pet peaves. People do things that I don't like, but when I think about it later I can understand their point of view so I let it slide.

People who cut into the little extra space I leave between my car and the one in front of me.

Oh, how could I almost forget to mention my worst peve of all???? People who blow their nose in an eating establishment! HELLOOOOO! I am trying to eat a meal here! There are better places to do that. If you have a cold or something and MUST do something about it, quietly wipe it until you are someplace where we aren't eating and then do it!

At the moment, reading posts where because you are not American you are told you are a second class citizen from a second class country.

Call waiting annoys me. I hate when people get another call and put me on hold. To me it's basically saying "Oh hang on, let me waste your time while I figure out if I'd rather talk to whoever else happens to be calling instead of you."

I have call waiting on my cellphone. Unless I have reason to believe it's urgent, I call them back when I'm done with the current person. I think it's just basic courtesy.

Empty toilet paper rolls. :mad:

I get frustrated by my parents often, but i'm sure that most people do. When i tell them over and over that i'm still the same person that i was six months ago... but they still cannot trust me or talk to me because i'm dating Hal...

yeah. that's the only justified annoyance. then of course there's that whole aspect of my personality where if I don't have enough food in my system i just get annoyed at everything. But that's easily remedied.

People that ride the elevator one or two floors.

I dont care if they obviously have a reason for it (lots of stuff in their hands, injured, etc), but people do it in my dorm all the time even though there are 4 stairways closeby, and it bugs the hell out of me. Its the biggest reason why I decided to give up on the elevators and just walk up the 8 flights of stairs to my room instead.

People who insist on eating prime rib well done.

Oh yeah, and people who use or say 'teh.'

What really annoys me today?

- Idiots who wear baseball caps backwards, thinking it makes them look cool. Newsflash meatheads - you look like a bunch of twats.

- Other idiots who think that wearing those trousers where the crotch hangs at you knees makes them look cool. Why these pillocks think that looking as though you are suffering a bout of the worst incontinence known to man is cool is beyond me.

- Different idiots who insist on wearing sunglasses indoors or at night. Attention people, listen up - the only person on the planet who can get away with this is Chris Gayle, so unless you are him, you look like a crackhead and I will not let a single moment where I could be mocking you go by.

i'm a huge movie buff. and when i say movie buff i mean i really love cinema. i'm talking things like camera angles, dialogue, etc. i study the different styles of certain directors, i really get into it more than the average person...or at least more than my friends.

I have a handful of movies that i really really love, and my friends (who claim to be movie buffs too but really don't know their ass from a hole in the ground) will flat out say they suck. They'll be like "that movie is so horrible" but they have no clue what the freakin movie is about or why it means so much to me.

Thats one of the things that really really annoys me is when people criticize what they have no comprehension of...especially something i'm really passionate about.

Traditions - if they don't work in the modern world, discard them! I hate it when elders demand us to follow pointless traditions.

Ignorant Intolerance - at least listen the other side.....

People that don't understand that war protests are protesting the government's decision to go to war, not the war effort. It is not disrespectful to the troops. All protesters support the troops - just ask one. (this comes from my own experiences in a protest)

Pride (big egos) - It only leads to demanding respect from others

Demanding Respect - everybody has their own opinion; if they don't think you are worthy of respect, let them think that. There's nothing wrong with that (unless they are cocky pricks that don't respect anyone.)
