What does it mean?
I just came to the realization that in my sex dreams I never end up actually having sex. Something always happens, like the girl’s friend will bust in and cock block. Also, anytime I ask someone out in my dreams I get turned down. Anyone have the same experience, or have any ideas as to what my subconscious is trying to tell me.

I get these all the time too, they piss me off so much!
Usually just as something intersting happens i start to wake up (you know the feeling, where your dreams start to go fuzzy, and your screaming at yourself not to wake up, then try to force yourself back to sleep once you do) and everything goes wrong. I also get the ones like you said, where things just go plain badly. Aggravating to say the least.

I had my first dream like that a couple nights ago, but it was with my friend's girlfriend. In my dream, I was so freaked out and worried that she was judging me, that we never ended up doing anything.
Subconsciously, though, your dreams might just be stemming off of a poor self-esteem. |

I would agree that la petite's reading could be pretty valid here, but would say that it could also stem from feelings that manifest themselves in real life about not ever doing anything sexually. Granted, I know nothing about your sex life, but that's what ends up happening when I get frustrated with being celibate for a while.
And yes... they're just frustrating enough to only fuel that fire. |

Sometimes a dream is just a dream... According to some dream dictionaries I've seen...
If you are heterosexual and you dream that you are having sex with someone of the same sex, signifies not necessarily homosexual desire, but an expression of greater self love and acceptance. You need to be in better touch of your feminine or masculine side. To dream of an interrupted sex life (according to dream dictionaries) is, suggests that things in your waking life are not going as smoothly as you would like.

I have *never* in all my years of actually having sex dreams had sex to completion (that I am aware of) in my dreams.
I will occasionally get some penetration or the like but never, ever to completion. I've also never had a wet dream. I just wrote it off to getting enough sex and/or masturbation in my waking life.

I remember hearing somewhere that most sex dreams don't actually contain sex in them. Just things we associate with sex... all the stuff that happens around it. After all, dreaming is a mental process and a sex is a physical process. Makes enough sense to me, I guess.

I often turn down offers of sex during my dreams, becuase I would never cheat on my wife in real life. Then, when I wake up, I realize that it was a just dream and it wouldn't count as cheating, but I can never dive back into the dream.
