So what do I do?
Hey guys,
Im so friggin excited, I'm about to buy a motorcycle... but I'm not sure that I want it I think I may want to spend that money (that ill be financing because i cant afford it) on a new Korg keyboard. So what I did was I wanted to get some outside opinions on what others think. so if you get a second just post to my poll on my gay ass blog and let me knwo what you think! (yes i know blogs suck, but its all i have). SITE PLUG REMOVED Last edited by Cynthetiq; 05-05-2005 at 09:36 AM.. |

It sounds like you really want to treat yourself, and your wife doesn't have a problem with you splashing out a bit on something. I'd say hold off on buying anything until you can afford it, it'll feel better. But since you sound determined to spend the money either way, go for the keyboard. It's cheaper, you've wanted it for longer, your wife thinks it's a better idea, there aren't extra costs (petrol, insurance, etc. for the bike), and your kids can play around with it and you could teach them how to play some songs.

I'd say get the keyboard. You have wanted it for 5+ years, and it's not likely to kill you. You have only been infatuated with bikes for 2 months.
Seems like that is the general concensus of your blog poll, too.

Your keyboard can't send you to the ICU. Your motorcycle can, and probably will. Weigh how much you want the motorcycle against any and all possible injury (including death) that you might/will sustain while riding it. Then think about what those injuries will put your wife and your family through emotionally and monetarily.
Then go buy the keyboard. Debt is a bad thing.

I don't have time to get into this, since you are still a rookie here I'm going to lock this thread and state if you want to make a poll, it is created here in TFP, not on your blog. One can easily create a thread here with a poll.
TFP doesn't exist to get traffic to read your blog.
