holy $h!t -- tonight's concert
so i just got off work from the Juanares concert. it's some latin singer guy, i think.
well i was backstage and emt came to give aid to a fallen lady. people relayed to the emt's that she had fainted and fallen. BUT...here's what really happened. apparently, the stage was built so that it was really close to the audience. some lady had managed to make her way on stage and hug the singer. when the roadies came to pull her off, her hug turned into a head lock and she basically was choking the singer. so while the roadies are trying to pry her fingers open to haul her off, the band is in shock and just continue to play the riff, waiting for the singer to continue. moments later, they finally pry her fingers open and escort her off the stage. meanwhile, another crazed fan jumps the stage and dashes towards the singer. the roadies were prepared this time as one swooped her up from the backside and picked her up from behind. then with her legs a flailing he rushes her to the edge of the stage and throws her 2 rows into the audience where she fell on her face. this is the same lady they took out on a stretcher and is the same lady that supposedly 'fainted and fell' well, i thought it was interesting and hoped some of you might as well. good night.

I've never heard of the performer but I guess the crazed groupie did. I know concerts I've been to, there's always been a few idiots who jump on stage and try to hug the performer, the roadies always seem to be perplexed as to how to handle it.
even though the woman brought it on herself, it seems wrong to toss her into the audience and cause her possibly physical injury. The roadies, or at least arena security, should be trained as to how to remove trespassers from the stage and turn them over to the police.

I have never heard of roadies actually throwing a person off of the stage. Usually they just grab them and drag them away and then probably kick them out of the venue.
I think that there should be something like a concert ethics handbook. Where it shows the rules and things you just shouldn't do. Like every concert I have been to some guy climbs up on the scaffolding to get a better view and then falls into the crowd. They kind of ruin the concert to me. Rule number one should be, do not go on stage unless the artist tells you to. Pure and simple.

yeah. the roadies were harsh in tossing her. i guess they were gettin pissed when the first lady was choking the shit out of the singer and acted purely on emotions at the time. security was taking questions but they're only staff pro.
i spoke to one of the show guys and it seems to be a hush hush topic as no one wants to talk about it.

No sympathy here either. She got what she deserved. If she hadn't ran on stage, she wouldn't be in the hospital today. Slant Eyes, you have much more sympathy than I would have had. Sometimes people deserve the asskicking they get.
