Yeah, I'm thinking that's the way to go I need to stop looking at this thread. Really. It's just making me anxious and more excited.

I'm thinking perhaps I shall bring out some good Oregon craftbrew for you all to try Must remember to wrap it up well so it doesn't break in my suitcase

You can buy them at the terminal.... highly unlikely to be a full boat. However, if you are feeling worried you can book in advance.

It looks like I will be on the Friday at 7pm boat as well. I will be on foot as I can't carry my clubs on the scooter. (Phil are we playing the par 3 across the road or are we playing somewhere else? If it's the par 3 I can get away with just a handful of clubs and my putter).

I haven't decided if I'm going to book a hotel or just crash on the floor... hope there's room on the floor, just in case.

The men who board those manly man ships that take them to far away shores to see sights and take women.

Naw, just doesn't sound right either.

Looking forward to it. Probably leave here Friday afternoon and get there sometime Friday, early evening.

If work allows. I have traded the weekend so hopefully there won't be any problems, just have to leave early enough Sunday to get back here to work by midnight..... unless I can work a deal for that also.

I really need this trip and it'll be my first golf outing this year.

From the Schedule Page:

Quote:

Schedule & Fares

We recommend that passengers arrive at their departure terminal a minimum of one hour prior to the schdeuled departure. Please note that the check in gates will close 15 minutes prior to the vessel departure in order to ensure a safe and secure on time departure.

So if you're catching the 7pm Friday boat you ... you wanna be there no later than 6pm. If they're like the ferries I've been on, they've got food, etc - or just get there and get comfy for the ride over

Hey Pain....google maps say it's only a 4 hour drive from you to us. Down route 81 south to route 90 west. The ferry will probably tie you up for 6 hours or so.

Just a thought......

That's what I said... easier to drive to Rochester from Kingston than to take the Ferry from Toronto...

Tecoyah: What do you need us to bring for food? Are we just going to chip in for groceries or should we bring some stuff (besides the booze, etc)? It looks like there are going to be quite a few people over from Friday night to Sunday morning.

Also are there good galleries and/or museums in town? What about shopping etc? I may want to do a bit of wandering on Saturday afternoon after golf, if others are up for it.

well...to be honest.....this is a much larger gathering than I had planned for....which is wicked sweet

there is much to do here....museums, shopping, theater.....etc...we will, I am sure....discuss the game plan as things progress

I will have some food and booze here to get us all started....and we can decide where to go from there

in my opinion,,,,the more people who show up....the better this party will be
I say pack light...bring youselves and we can buy what we need down the street (got a Wegmans a mile away, and a good liquor store even closer)

we will play much of this by ear.....much the way TFP works

So who's picking up this owl when she lands?

I am flightless, after all...must get other things to do my flying for me. I get into Rochester about an hour after Shani, at about 6:20.

I will be bringing some Northwestern delicacies. Is it possible that any of the Canadian comers could do me a favor and bring a bag or three of Ruffles All-Dressed? I'll give you lots of hugs and kisses as a bribe. Or maybe just some beer.
