The worst I have ever come across personally is hair.

My sister found a piece of metal in her potato salad and a friend found a dead worm in his salad at our high school.

I found a tiny pearl in a bowl of oyster stew one time (nearly broke a tooth on it!)

One of my friends in high school stole a leg off of one of the Biology frogs (that we were dissecting) and put it into the ranch dressing on the salad bar. Someone did, indeed, get it on their salad. The legs of the dissecting frogs were counted from that day forward....

Once after eating at taco bell and finishing my drink, I opened the cup because I like to eat the ice at the bottom afterwards, and when I opened it up there was a huge fly on top of the ice. I swore I would never eat at taco bell again, but being broke 1/2 the time, gives you little choice, probably ate there about 500 times since then, but only got a drink about 5 of those and each in the dining room where I could fill it myself.

ugh..after reading the posts in this thread i don't think i'll ever eat again!

personally i have some weird mojo for finding bugs in my food. i've found roaches in pizza (but that was in vietnam so i wasnt too suprised) i've eaten worm infested avacados..well half a worm infested avacado before i realized the worms were there, mini flys on my celery, those bugs that start with A that lady bugs liek to eat on my brocolli, flys in my salad, moths in my oatmeal..ummm teh list goes on...as well as like random hairs and dirty plates and glasses.
