The answer to that is. No. Nowhere in the near future atleast (next 500 years) This has been going on for thousands (if not millions) of years. While we HAVE become more aware of it in the last 50 years. For the first time starting to see it as wrong as a socitey. I do not see racism and just ingeneral hatred dieing out anytime soon.

I know I could not ever bring myself to do this. I believe in mercy even in death...If someone needs to die, a bullet in the back of the skull is much easier and quicker then torture.

HOwever, American History X is a movie that i believe everyone should see. It really shows the stupidity and pointlessness of racism, and is just a damn good movie. Go watch it if you havn't seen it and learn something.

Im am sick of everyone being vengeful...It does nothing to absolve the hate we are talking about. It feeds it. They simply need to be executed. When a dog goes rabid and bites, you do not toture it, no matter how much damage it caused...you just take it outback and shoot it.

They need not be punished simply for taking the biys life brutaly and disgustingly, but they need to be taken from this world, so that they can not cause more harm.

Also, if we torture them, they become martyrs...Idealy their names are forgotton within a year.

It's so important to remember that despite what we all wish, true evil does continue to exist in this world.

People talk about the Holocaust and say things like "never again". You can say it and feel it and pray for it, but the reality is that the next act of genocide is never too far off in the future. Better to fight evil head on, with force and violence when necessary, than to sit back and wait for more tragedies.

I think there are many in America who would stand by and watch idly while genocide occured elsewhere. The best way to avoid being a victim is to be forewarned and most importantly armed.

I am usually one of those bleeding heart liberals, but something like this makes me say execute the perps. That kind of thing needs to be stomped out hard and fast. Prison isn't the answer they will just end up with others who believe like they do.

Well, this is an interesting post to make my Tilted debut, but I'd been waiting for something to stir me to words. I think I'm going to be the only person to post that does not wish for the boys to be killed OR tortured. Like krwlz said, there is something very wrong with them, like a rabid dog. In my opinion, we should not kill them, but rather treat their rather severe mental illness and try and make them useful members of society again. I don't believe that any person is born evil, or is inherently evil. All people are motivated by trying to avoid suffering- they just happen to use the jewish population as a scapegoat, and act accordingly. I can't think of why this would make sense to them, but it does. With enough care and time, we can quell their hatred into something more productive.

However, if those two boys die, it is just a situation of three deaths instead of one. Three families that have to bury a child, not one. More death won't solve anything, the problem must be attacked from its root.

The problem with this sort of thing is that no matter what you do, I don't think you can reprogram the mind of a racist. Even if it is possible, I'd rather have someone in jail for life than risk releasing them and having them kill again.

This is just stomach churning, but it's not enough to say "thank God we don't live in Germany" or "There, but for the grace of God, go us".

I think humankind will one day rise above this shit. Not that there won't always be defective minds like theirs, but even now their racism is still acceptable in society. It may be underground, or just in the homes, but these murderers are products of the racism that's still widespread in society. One day even that will have been defeated.

To a degree I agree with you. I do believe that no one is born evil. I do not believe that everyone who IS now evil (for whatever reason) can be brought back. Some can. Others do not. I believe these boys should die. We should not try to make them suffer or anything. Their deaths should be quick and painless. I do not think these boys are worth the time and money to try to rehabilitate. Namely because I do not believe if we had infinite money and infinite time could we rehabilitate them. But thats just what I believe.

These stories make me very angry. Not much else to say other then I wouldn't want to be a victim like this guy was. Like hell actually, it doesn't even sound like this guy put up much of a fight, I can honestly say even when physically outmatched I'd have been trying to get at them to the end.
