What would you tattoo your lip?
I've been around for a little bit now, some of you may have noticed me here and there. One thing none of you knows about me is that i have a tattoo on the inside of my lip. Obviously there is very little room for what you can fit, but what would you get?
It's photobucket, so hopefully the bandwidth wont go TOO fast. Without further ado: |

That's funny. I think one of the members of Rancid has the word "beer" with an arrow pointing in, tattooed on his lip.

I totally would do that. Mine would probally say something like "Pimp Daddy" or "Hood rich"....you know, something to make my mom proud.

My best friend just got a lip tattoo. She said it hurt like hell. She got Leviticus something or other. It's a verse from the old testament about not tattoing your body. And if anyone asks her about, she gives them a very passionate five minute spiel about what that verse is REALLY about.
I would probably never get a lip tattoo. |

[QUOTE=nickynicole]My best friend just got a lip tattoo. She said it hurt like hell.[QUOTE] Comparatively to other tattoos, it hurt a little bit worse, but ultimately felt VERY different... I didnt feel the vibration of the gun at all (i had to air-dry the lip for quite some time before he could start working on it, so it was pretty numb) it felt more similar to being cut, as though it was an exacto knife or something. Funny thing was, with most lip tattoos, i was told by my artist, the ink will fall out within a month or two, it's a sensative area so it's hard to make it hold ink.... but, here i am, nearly four years after i had it done, and it's still the exact same, hardly faded at all. That picture is from right when the swelling died down. i'll take a couple shots of it this weekend and show you all a comparison on monday. |

Just an observation, but.....not one of those people with the inner lip tattoo has white teeth(some were downright yellow). That totally distracted me from anything art-worthy those tats might be. To each his own, though-I'd be inclined to get 'the fuck stops here', but I got crooked teeth and would NOT want to be showing a tat that way

Too many smokes and coffee for me, just dont really care what the ol' grill looks like, if it's going to cost anything much to make them look better. I let somebody convince me to try those crest whitestrip things, but i never remembered to use them. I brush them! I swear!
