You probably should have posted this in the Southern California board, because no one outside So Cal knows where Topanga Canyon is.
For the sake of those who are outside California, during the deluge the last couple weeks a massive boulder slid off of a slope and onto Topanga Canyon Road, which is the main artery from LA's San Fernando Valley to Malibu. They blew it up with dynamite and hauled it away... Apparently they didn't use an expert and the first blast just sheared off a chunk rather and pulverizing it...

I used to drive through there when I was a kid. Have not been there since the mid '70's. I am sure glad I was not under that thing when it fell.
